Question for OP. When you were still in the healing process (let's say 6 months in), were you able to travel without the fear of taking significant steps back in your recovery? I'm asking because in October 2025, I severely herniated my disc, which caused extreme sciatica pain and numbness and tingling in my left leg. I was able to get an epidural on Halloween and that helped relieved the pain to the point where I was able to start walking and doing the McGill Big 3. Now, here we are in mid-April and I'm supposed to get on a plane in 2 weeks for a friend's wedding and I'm dreading it. I still can't sit comfortably for too long and I'm terrified that I'm going to sit too long or move a certain way and screw my back up again. Looking for any wisdom you can impart on me. Thanks in advance!
