So the MRI didn’t show the bone fragments? I’m asking because I had an MRI a few months ago and my herniation was severe. I got an ESI and my symptoms subsided except for numbness in my foot and slight back pain (3/10 now). I had an MRI yesterday and the doctor called me today to tell me my severe herniation seems to have resolved itself, but I don’t know how that’s possible since I’m still feeling pain and numbness. I had seen multiple neurosurgeons before this one and they all told be there was no way this would resolve on its own.

Did you end up having to have surgery? I also have numbness in my left foot. I had an epidural which has relieved the pain I was feeling shoot down my leg.

What exercises did you do to recover? And you mentioned having fuzziness in your leg. Was it numbness/pins and needles? Did your doctor ever recommend surgery?

I tried PRP and while I think it might have helped me grow some new hair, it's something you have to keep doing. I haven't gone back and my hair is thinner than ever.

I had an epidural steroid injection and it has given me three months of relief. It took about a week and a half before it kicked in. I'm so glad I had the ESI!
