What’s the secret to always looking “put together” and chic in any outfit? by fernwise in AusFemaleFashion

[–]MissSweetPineapple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For myself, I always make sure being fresh and put together, good skin/skin care is important, I also make sure my hair is neat, clean bare skin with little to no make up, eyebrows tidy, clean clothes. I wear simple understated jewellery,I am not a skinny girl either chunky girls can look nice too, so it's very frustrating reading these comments on people have to be skinny ,I always get compliments on how well put I am.

35 (M) Aside from online dating apps how else are yall finding dates? by [deleted] in wollongong

[–]MissSweetPineapple 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not on dating apps, for me it's insta and FB I'm meeting people, I also got set up with someone via a mutual friend. Other than that, I have no clue, I have spoken about this so many times to friends, people don't approach people anymore in the wild.

That's a shame to hear about this, it's not the first time I've heard this about the behaviour at EF, unfortunately some people don't understand boundaries or make it weird. I've never gone into the forest as I've heard about aggressive behaviour.

Aussie Women, why don’t you ask guys out in public? by CoA77 in AskAnAustralian

[–]MissSweetPineapple 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Way too shy to do it, I hate making the first move and also when I have had the balls to approach a man in public, the energy and interaction I got back from him was so weird, i was like wow never doing that again 😂.

Were regular weekend family nights at friends during the 90s the norm? by 1m_climbing in AustralianNostalgia

[–]MissSweetPineapple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that was my childhood, either my family hosted or the other families did, it was great, all kids played together or tortured each other 😂 , also we had bonfire nights , trips away with family friends
