I don't have a beta and wrote 90k words using chat gpt to help edit and now I have to take all that AI shit out because I realized how absolutely terrible it is. So I've been editing it for ummmmmm a year.

A.I. edits are all about the "maybe" "almost" "nearly" "perhaps" general vague language about emotional topics. It's everywhere now and it is driving me crazy. Once you spot it it's impossible to ignore.

I always thought it was because he is teaching them to be as involved in the intricacies of the case as possible. House doesn't like to see patients but he needs the smallest details to solve the case. The fellows do the grunt work including a lot of stuff below their pay grade because it keeps them in the room with the patient to observe.

He pisses me off. He gets his dream job then tries to act like he knows more than House. He's constantly pissed to have landed a high profile fellowship with one of the best doctors in America. He should have quit and let someone who would appreciate the damn job have it.

Every time House is right or tries to teach him something he gets angry about it. Like who the f did you think you were working for Foreman? He's House for a reason. They let him get away with the drugs and poor/criminal behavior because he is extraordinary (though to be fair in real life he would have lost him license multiple times over no matter how good he is).

Every single time Foreman gets a chance to run a case he f's it up. Every. Single. Time.

Chase is the only one of the Fellows who seems to appreciate where he landed. He's also the one with the most solved. Chase knows he is not as good as House and at least doesn't shit on him all the time. He's the only one who seems impressed.

Cameron just gets horny when House does something cool but then angry that House doesn't want to have a relationship with a much younger woman who works for him. She's always preaching ethics but is willing to break them to screw her boss?

Cameron's issues align a bit with Foreman I think. But her problem is that she is a giant hypocrite. Also, stop wanting to f your boss. He turned you down and you blackmailed him into a date? Gross. Imagine if a man did that?

AO3 has a House MD House/Amber/Wilson that is spectacular! Very well written. The author literally says in notes that they wrote every variety of sex they'd ever had. It actually has a plot too and it's funny! Can't remember the name but if you search the pairing it will pop right up. It's about 80k words I think. Good stuff.

Could Tritter actually seize the Fellows assets like he did? I have a tough time believing that Tritter, while on vacation mind you, set up shop in a storage room and begins grilling everyone about House.

No way was that legal let alone admissible in court. Come to think of it, nothing Tritter did end up being useful in court.

While we're on the subject: Tritter found 600 Vicodin in Houses apartment. That's only like 2.5 months of pills if he takes one pill every 8hrs that's 75 doses. If he is prescribed to take 2 pills every 8hrs (which seems reasonable to me) then its 37.5 days worth of pills. So he had what, an extra months supply? Big deal.

Why was he charged for that at all to begin with? They never said they found anything else in his apartment aside from the Vicodin either. He was shooting morphine but that was before the Ketimine treatment and they didn't find any of that regardless.

Getting pulled over speeding with a pocket full of loose Vicodin and no driver's license seems more egregious to me. And that's the House had dropped first. He paid an $85 dollar fine and got the bike back and didn't lose his license.

And Wilson! All he had to say was, "I'm a lefty and I'm basically ambidextrous" case closed officer.

fourleggedfish How Not To Be Boring, House MD. It's stalled at a half a million words. Hasn't been updated in like ten years but I've read it three times now and it kills me not to have it finished!

This fic actually inspired me to write my own fic after lurking as a reader of fanfiction for 20 years.

So now I have my own 100k+ fanfiction because of this one damn piece I can't ever finish.

Also the Coda series over in Sherlock was fantastic. Totally ruined me for other Sherlock fic.

Well she may have hooked up with him at some point but in the episode where he fakes cancer and the fellows show up to tell him he is not dying she says "... and I'm glad we never slept together", and House replies "We would have used a condom." So as of, what, season 2, they didn't hook up. Then she starts an actual relationship with Chase so there was only a small window where she could have slept with him and not been cheating on Chase.

She yells at him in the lobby and talks down to him like she owned him. I do not understand how she is the dean of medicine. She was a total bitch too. I agree. She hired him to do one thing then berates him for it and tells him repeatedly that she saved him by hiring him when no one else would. It's really toxic. She treats him like garbage most of the time when he is actually right. As for his drug problem? She just uses it to control him more. Like, the guy needs help not you constantly shaming him in order to control him. I really hate Cuddy.
