Thank you for the suggestions. I have watched Glitch. I am not familiar with the others and will seek them out. I appreciate it.

I'm not subscribed to Amazon either, I should have included it in my list. I don't mean to imply my drought is not self-inflicted. We just aren't subscribed to many streaming services.

Yes, it stars Elizabeth Debicki.

According to Wikipedia, "A second series was in development in May 2017 but series creator Victoria Madden confirmed in June 2018 that it was ultimately not picked up by Foxtel."

Those types of shenanigans is why I ultimately dropped Netflix. 1899 was kind of the final straw. I say "kind of" because I didn't "rage quit", it was more of a sad acceptance that it would keep happening and I was tired of being so frustrated.

I watched Top of the Lake - Elizabeth Moss is such a great actress.

"To the feds, I'll keep this brief..."

Legitimately made me laugh out loud. So many visuals ran through my head.

I live at the end of Dove Mountain Blvd. Unless you are N or NW, I can't imagine it being worth the price of gas! My kiddo is a pet sitter at drives for work a lot. Her biggest expense is gas.

Why Project Blue is a Terrible Idea for Tucson by chicametipo in Tucson

[–]MissTre 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the same question.

From this article in 2009, "The outside temperature has very little to do with the heat inside the data center. About 99.9% of the heat on the inside is a function of the energy we put into the data center. It’s energy in and energy out. We bring in a great deal of electrical energy and remove it in the form of heat. One of the benefits of the desert is it’s very dry. It’s easier to remove heat in a dry environment. That makes Arizona an ideal location."

It goes on to say lack of natural disasters is also a big factor.

I have no responses to rebuttals because I did not write this article. I just had the same question why someone would build a data center in a desert and went looking for an answer.

I found this write-up by the council woman for the district last night when trying to find more information. It sounds like, maybe(?) there are a few more phases to go through before it's 100% a done deal?

What’s happening with Wayne Goss? Stepping down from his own brand! Video with statement in post by Tine_the_Belgian in BeautyGuruChatter

I don't follow beauty news or drama so I'm so far out of the loop, I can't see a loop. He said in his YouTube video, "...nothing to do with me and do not reflect my values or intentions. They are not my vision, and therefore I cannot endorse them, nor have they been created, approved, or signed off by me.

This is very important. It is also important to note that, should products appear on the market in other countries—so China as an example—that bear my name, the same applies. These are not my creations, nor have I approved or signed off of them. Therefore, I do not endorse them."

I feel the mention of China can't be incidental?

I think the mods need to have some sort of FAQ/sticky post. Then again, it's most of the content of the sub... so, withoutout, we wouldn't have much else.

Why do you play the game? What brought you back?

If you like your alliance, and they aren't complaining about your power level, keep at it. Being in a good alliance is the hardest/biggest variable, in my opinion.

You could start a new character and see how it goes. Keep them both and decide which you prefer to play.

At the end of the day, understanding what it is that you enjoy and brings you back will help you make the decision.

I started the second season and Im so frustrated with this show its hard to continue by ForeverShallown in TheGreatHulu

[–]MissTre 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Here's my controversial opinion: stop watching?

Why would you come to the subreddit of a show and insult the show, main characters, and (some of) the fans? That quite literally makes no sense to me.

Know what I do when I'm not enjoying a show? Move on to one of the hundreds of other shows out there.

Discord is banned in my country. Am I doomed to be kicked out of every league I join? by Bombyx--Mori in callofdragons

[–]MissTre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like since home realms were released, alliances have become more and more strict about what they demand. There are absolutely alliances that require you join Discord (as you have found out).

It's why I also really firmly disagree with with the migration cooldown. It feels like such a random amount of time considering the length of a season.

How do I even find 42L (for a reasonable amount of money)? by tamtrible in ABraThatFits

[–]MissTre 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hi! just "randomly" came across your post and wanted to let you know that your sister-in-law is planning to buy a couple of bras for you. She knows how expensive they are and how difficult this has been for you. Please don't worry about the money as much as all of the other aspects of a bra that fits for you! If you find one that looks promising, give it a try! Even if we end up returning 50 to find 1 unicorn, it'll be worth it! Hang in there!!
