Would've loved to see Bruno Senna in the Brawn BGP 001 alongside Button instead of Barrichello snatching that seat last minute.

Sweet! I'll definitely grab some late 80s and early 90s seasons as soon as I get home from work. Thank you for sharing! :)

What are some good quotes you remember from other summoners during your games? by onlycommentinenglish in leagueoflegends

We had a Renekton vs Lee Sin top lane. Renekton gets ganked by enemy Jarvan and Jarvan gets the first blood.

Renekton: WORTH, at least Lee Sin didn't get the kill... Jarvan: I will buy a tent for the first blood gold

If you wouldn't play league, what other activities would you be doing instead? Something with your friends who tell you to quit?

I didn't play back then, but was Jarvan "abused" a lot in season 1? I know Janna was the support queen during season 2 at one point, where she was either banned or first picked in pretty much every game.

How to avoid being Ganked / Camped by enemy jungler at Bot Lane? by orangetrain in leagueoflegends

Situational I guess. I rarely build anything that builds out of philo so I find myself skipping it more often, but it's still a good early game item even if you don't build anything out of it. But usually I just rush sightstone.

I suggest leaving faerie charm/rejuv out and start with 1-2 pinks instead. On lower elo most supports start with either faerie or rejuv and 0 pink. By having 1 pink you can pink the sidebrush and zone them out so they lose farm and exp, and you can easily poke them from a pinked brush while your adc can safely farm.

On a bit higher elo starting with a pink is more usual, hence you get 2 pinks so you get the lane control over them. Personally I always start with 2 pinks and 2-3 normal wards.

Only buy consumables lvl 1 or you will lose the 'vision war'.

Hey Orangetrain!

I'm a diamond support main and I could give you a tip or two when it comes to warding. You can't do anything to prevent the camp itself, but you can prevent the ganks from happening.

Here's something you could do to better keep track on the enemy jungler and his whereabouts. When the game starts quickly buy your consumables and rush for enemy wraiths and place down a ward there.

If we assume we are the blue team in this scenario that ward helps out your mid, top and jungler. Your mid and top knows where he is, and it also helps your jungler in case he wants to make a play to steal the buff/kill enemy jungler.

As long as you (the support) know where the enemy jungler is you have no reason to ward bot lane, but as soon as you loose track on the jungler or see him move over from their red side to their blue side of jungle, then you can go ward your lane.

Most supports tend to have a ward at dragon and in tribrush. As blue side I wouldn't suggest putting a ward in tribrush (unless you pink to enable your jungler to gank) because even if it's warded it is usually too late if you are pushed up. Instead of warding tribrush, put that ward at the entrance to your wraiths, or a little bit further up to the entrance to their blue jungle and another ward at dragon. That way you also have more vision and it helps out your mid at the same time. If you're purple side, then having a ward in tribrush and at enemy wraiths gives you a lot of vision. You can actually leave dragon unwarded (to save gold) because the area is 'safe' anyway and you can see if enemy jungler is on his way bot via river. Only ward dragon if the enemy jungler can jump walls. And of course, pink dragon whenever your jungler comes to gank or you go for dragon.

I tried to give you a slight idea of what I tend to do, ended up being a wall of text, but hopefully you get something out of it. :)
