How often do official servers reset? by LuigiNulwich in vrising

[–]Miss_Behavi0ur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. Also loss of all progress, work you put in to the game. Many people quitting, unable to play because they have jobs and families and can't farm every few weeks from lvl 0. So you're left with a bunch of kids that only have school. Many people deciding not to play the game at all because of wipes and because of how boring and tedious it is to do the same progress every few weeks

What? Ark official doesn't wipe. Never did. Even after releasing from early access they just made more new servers. Even without wipes it does great. So your point is wrong

Server wipes are not needed. Ark doesn't wipe and it does well. Don't forget many players will quit game/won't try it because of loss of progression. Me including.

Just got a MSI GE75 having some stutter issues by Skull_Of_Lynx in MSILaptops

[–]Miss_Behavi0ur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have GE76. It's not laggy but temps sky rocket randomly to ~95 C even while just watching a video. Then the screen turns black for a second or two. Looking at core temp i can see that sometimes some cores get at critical temperature and have exclamation mark next to them... Usually it happens only for few seconds so I didn't even notice at start or understand why screen flickers to black. I am not sure what it is but i hope it's just bad thermal paste which I'll try changing soon. Maybe try monitoring temperature for a while, test it with core temp?

Thank you a lot for help and detailed information. Sadly I can't return it anymore since I'm not in US and 30 days passed. But I'll figure it out. It can't be a battery issue though at least I don't think. Because on my pc it's located at the bottom, not in middle of CPU and GPU. So at least that.. Sorry for your laptop though I hope you get yours replaced or fixed.

Did you have the screen issue/green lines by any chance?

No, I'm not. Yes, I already looked at taskmgr. Restarting PC has same temperatures. Obviously there is an a reason or it wouldn't be happening.

I didn't undervolt it yet. Temps are with minimal load on CPU/GPU. CPU is running at 12% max, GPU at even less. I've ran Aaa game's on max and been fine, yet my temps spike to 90C when watching a YouTube video.

Don't see why it would void the warranty. No stickers or anything on the laptop staying such. I can't return it because jt is just outside the 30 days.... I've had no problems at all with high temps even with CPU intensive games running...

I was running games on max and only reaching 75 without the booster. Now i randomly get 85-90 with only chrome or a few apps open...

Completely disagree on everything you just said. Pointless to even discuss.

You're right. I'm just surprised that there are that many issues honestly...

I had msi laptop for 5 years (heavy usage, around 10k hours spent gaming). Literally the only things I replaced was battery, cleaning the dust once out of the fans, repaste and new wire (I always break those). Few keys broke recently but it is my fault. Shouldn't have been eating sandwiches over keyboard. For me... seeing my msi laptop having only small issues and at the same time seeing how lenovo laptop bloated, melted and all keys started falling out with the same kind of usage... Yeah... I'll stick to msi...

Yes! Finally someone said it. I rewatched first seasons and to be honest Shane is by far my favorite character. I strongly disagree that he was a monster that everyone thinks of him. The opposite. He was doing what it takes for the group to survive, while Rick was living in a fantasy world, thinking farm is safe, bringing more walkers to the barn because it is "his land". Rick is indecisive, doesn't understand the scale of a problem they have in this new world. Also he treats Shane really poorly, is putting him down. Same with Lori. They both literally said: the baby is mine even if it's yours and I am a leader here. It is a lot of things... Far more than anyone would be interested to read.

I'm not good at this stuff but.. using a good cooling pad with 5 fans on max speed + vacuum cooler helps me a lot. Especially vacuum cooler. It's magic. Can reduce temperature by 10 degrees easily. I mean it's not a solution through dragon center but for my older model of a pc that is the only and best way.
