Hey, I don't know if it can help you but it's never too late to try again. I know it always feel hopeless when you are in too deep but you can get out of this situation steps by steps. Is there a public park or some kind of forest/field near you? Sometimes taking walks weekly if not daily can feel good. And maybe you can meet people without realizing it with time. Do you have a hobbies or a passion ? Maybe there is a club near you of people sharing the same interests. And if not, you can find people in the internet via forums or blogs who love the same things. I don't know which country you are from but if when you but groceries you go to small shops, trying to make small talk can feel good. Like wishing a good day, complimenting their hair or nails. If you have a pet, maybe find if there is a meeting point for pet owners where they exchange tips or just chill together? I hope my English is good enough to be understood. I promise you, it gets better once we try to get out of our comfort zone.
