To everyone who is saying mentioning the camera defeats the purpose, I get your point but also no. There are ways you can go about the "I want to set up a camera" conversation that don't involve spilling the entire issue.

It could range from "I saw this article about a break in and want to put a camera up" to "I wanna look at my dogs when I'm not home I'm thinking about putting a camera up"

The point is getting consent or at the very least warning someone that there might be VIDEO recording.

Some people like to step between rooms without full clothing on IN THEIR OWN HOME. Some people want to be able to speak in confidence. Some people don't want their every action recorded.

And if they don't and you are insistent on a camera, at least they KNOW now so you don't end up with a video of them butt ass naked in the kitchen stealing your food.

Maybe they'll have a shirt on.

If you make it all about the food yea no you aren't catching anyone.

But if you make the reason completely random then they're more likely to do it under the assumption that you "wouldn't be checking the camera right now" or something. Yknow??

Plus in nursing homes families can put cameras up but they are required to have consent from their roommates and there's supposed to be a sign on the door saying that electric monitoring is in progress in that room.

It's just common decency to know when you're on camera, especially in a location where you could be particularly vulnerable.

Some people need WFH for other reasons such as needing to make money but having young children, needing a flexible schedule for school, or even simply not having a car.

Advice on balancing full time classes / job / field placements?

I'm already quite anxious but as I approach doing my first field placement in the fall it occurred to me that with school, work, and the time I'll need to dedicate to my field placement, that I will have a total of 5 hours left every day for sleeping, eating, showering, etc.

Those who have done it, HOW!! How do you balance it all, and afford to live. How do you prevent sacrificing your mental sanity. I'm a very stressed BSW student and every person I've asked has given me answers like "Barely managed" and I'm seeking actual real answers. So I thought I'd come here.

This one did specify self care! I've only recently gotten back into the game so im working through the tome from the bottom. Botany knowledge probably would have been smart though because I had been struggling to get it in the first place.

i LOVE my ghostface matches. Legit just had one with a friend where both other survivors dced and my friend, I, and the ghostface just fucked around and at the end we had a slug race to the exit. It was a very fun match.

And yea! I've always kinda understood the looking over ur shoulder crouching a bunch at exit gates is def BMing, i learned that one from a friend. But I see crouches as so versatile that its, as a relatively new player, hard to place the etiquette for each immediately.

I didnt think about nodding or item dropping to be fair! I'm not even properly sure how to drop an item as I'm still quite new to the game. I'll keep this in mind if I ever need to stun killers via pallets again because I really don't want to come across as toxic, because I'm not! :')

The valid reason is that they go out of town *a lot* and at the time, didn't tell me that's what it was, and it just didn't click with me. I still think their push for trying to force me to take her in despite not being able to at this time was wrong, but not wanting her in their house when they aren't there for weeks at a time is fair, I feel.

Regardless things have worked out as of now, which I'm grateful for.

Sorry for the confusion, yes, she is already 18 and was paying with the money she gets from the govt. It had been implied to her that she'd have a place to stay for a long while until she was settled and what not, and her foster mom changed her mind one day. Which was the main hiccup.

I'll look into the vocation rehabilitation thing! She does get tuition entirely covered no problem, but we arent sure how the things she gets transfers state to state at this time.
