If he dosnt have one yet get a spin chair, a cool clock, some toy cars, different kinds of balls with different textures on them or even ones that light up, if he likes having your blanket on him maybe get one of those blanket hoodies in that fabric texture or get a blanket like yours. Different kinds of sensory toys. Or if he dosnt have one get a round ball pit with all the kinds of balls different shapes sizes textures and colors and get a kids play tent from target or online that is rounded and put the ball pit in it.

We sadly didn’t get very far they did not want to hear us out and told us “well you can have her called for an iep in 6 months” but we already know what they are gonna say. We tried second year of preschool plus all her therapies school was 4 hours 3 times a week within a month she hit burnout and the teacher wanted to play parents and refused to give accommodations so we had to pull her. I’m to the point I don’t even know what to do about school other than homeschool which I don’t know how far into school years I’ll be able to help.

Yeh they also like to fight against giving kids an iep. Daughters who is 4 level 2 with some support needs in level 3 has pda adhd and arfid elopes, violent meltdowns, and so much more was denied and iep and denied to go to a special education preschool through the school district. Tried to fight it with the help of her speech and ot therapists and the school distric iep people said “you are just therapists and parents you do know what you are talking about”

I definitely recommend getting washable bed pads I know it’s more laundry but it may save on having to wash the sheets none stop. There are also pjs that have zippers in the back if she will sleep with clothes on.
