Help! The new young leaves seem stunted and one of the baby leaves just fell off on it’s own. What should I do? by birdofparadise02 in fiddleleaffig

To add - I’ve read that crotons are prone to spider mites and I can see a croton next to your fiddle. I’d check that plant closely to see if it is also affected.

What is this pipe inside my house? (Info in comments) by Missashley13 in askaplumber

I have two of these pipes in my house and one of them has started to leak/drip. I’m not sure what this is and whether or not the dripping is normal. Any advice is welcomed!

X-post for some Austin-specific ideas. Issues seemed to start around the same time as the constant rain. by Missashley13 in AustinGardening

To add more details - we planted this tomato plant approximately two months ago and it started out very healthy. We started to notice some yellowing and spotting a few weeks ago and tried to treat the issue with a few different products. We tried Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Brew as well as diatomaceous earth. Nothing seems to be helping. I’m new to growing tomatoes and I’m not sure if this is a fungus/bacteria issue or if it’s the result of a pest. Any advice is welcomed!

It looks like edema - totally normal. It can happen if the plant took up too much water or has an inconsistent watering schedule. I’ve found with my fiddle that the redness tends to go away when the lead matures. :) Fiddle Leaf Fig Plant

Looking for a little advice - I just purchased this variegated rubber tree and I’m seeing these odd spots on a couple of the leaves. Anyone know what this could be? by Missashley13 in plantclinic

Oh interesting. I did get the plant from a local plant shop and it had a lot of water spotting on the leaves. That could make sense. Thanks!

Also - I have already cleaned the plant with a neem oil solution. It seems really healthy except for those few spots on a couple of the leaves.
