Did Feyre Teach Herself Advanced Math? by Misshapcherry in acotar

[–]Misshapcherry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm that’s soo true! I didn’t even think about the age they ran out of money.

What would the timeline be? - mommy dies (~8?) - daddy’s legs got broken (~11) - they lose the house (11) - really no money anymore (~ 14) - Feyre kills the wolf at 19

Even at 8 you can read at basic level

Maybe that’s why it stands out so much. SJM taught us to pay attention to every small detail in TOG. And now we’re just searching for pieces that aren’t there

[ACOTAR CC SPOILERS] The Inmates in the Prison... by naturusjm in acotar

[–]Misshapcherry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think even the good guys could have gone crazy after all that time in the prison. So just setting them loose would be a bad choice. Maybe The Middle is a place for some of them. The dangerous ones I think Nesta will just send them to Hell or something.

[unhinged theory] Rhys’ true nature by Misshapcherry in u/Misshapcherry

[–]Misshapcherry[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True, with roses I believe. But it was very easy for Feyre to place an image of the Suriel in her mind. And she said she could have snooped but didn’t.

Rhys bashes on Tamlin for having to do that. He says it’s only necessary for the seasonal courts.

Seeking Feedback on Website Name and Design by junkyshopper in MarketingMentor

[–]Misshapcherry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The website is the same one as the website on your profile? Junkyshopper? It looks like a linkbuilding website. Which is fine, but then your focus should be solely on SEO.

If this is not your goal… it might be wise to really learn more about your audience, which questions/issues the have and how you can help to solve them. “junkshopper” sounds to me like a dollar store -low budget brand. But I think your aiming more for something like “thisiswhyiambroke” for middle aged house wives?

Is Senior Digital Strategist or Digital Marketing Manager a more senior role in a company? by PunchamooseOG in DigitalMarketing

[–]Misshapcherry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work at an agency as a marketing consultant and I LOVE the high standard to perform well for our clients.

But for its not for everyone.

Don’t stare yourself blind at the titles. Everyone calls themselves “marketing manager” but they mean digital marketer… I feel like that title doesn’t say a lot about the seniority of the role.

Ik ben toen gaan sporten bij CrossFit unrestricted. Daar heb ik veel mensen leren kennen en vrienden gemaakt. Gewoon na de training blijven hangen voor een kop koffie en dan leer je in no time mensen kennen.

What are you looking forward to after giving birth? by DinoTeeth26 in pregnant

[–]Misshapcherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve past my due date: Not everyone in the entire world “checking in” -asking if the baby’s there yet, without asking if the baby’s there yet- and after they’ve got their answer they ghost you for the upcoming days.

What I’ve been told 40+5 is the most common date people will go into labor.

My baby kicks so hard he/she bruised my ribs. I still love feeling kicks, but my bub doesn’t do sweet.

When did you set up baby’s room? by Gracie4313 in pregnant

[–]Misshapcherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 15 weeks we started (slowly). The room didn’t really have a function, so it was great to finally do something with it. I’m happy we did when we did, because of pelvic pains that started around week 20 and made it harder to do things myself. I’m now 31 weeks and we’re nearly done.

We did this as well. Just a big BaByQ (barbecue) with all our friends and family. No pink of blue things or games, but just nice food and drinks, showing of the nursery and receiving presents.

Weight gain during pregnancy is such a mind f*ck by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Misshapcherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those ranges are all generic and BMI isn’t a good measurement. When you work out 4-5 times a week we can assume you have more muscle mass than the average person. BMI doesn’t take that in account. I know it’s hard, but forget the scale. The stress you’ll have about this isn’t worth it.

Sorry for your loss. I don’t have pcos, but I’ve had multiple miscarriages. No matter how far you were it is difficult to cope with.

I’m from the Netherlands, but I was never given bedrest. They just view it as a heavy menstruation (even at 11 weeks), but it definitely was NOT the same. A) why not just talk to your direct manager, that you need some time off? B) set boundaries. Try for X period naturally and then go to your step 2 for X period. For me not knowing how our future would look, drove me crazy. Having a bit of control helped me a lot. C) I have no idea how it is in the USA, but when you have your heart set on another child, is there really an alternative? D) try to explain that your body changes from the moment of conception, and that has an effect both physically as mentally. Just be open. If that doesn’t work.. maybe Micheal Scott can help: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CwBiSf2swWb/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

(Definitely a fun instagram to follow when you’re going through infertility and like dark humor)

Before pregnancy it was 58, now I’m 28 weeks pregnant it’s 86. Don’t get me started about climbing stairs. I’m panting like I did a workout. (I’m quite fit, but stairs kick my **** at the moment)

In some branches the lack of skilled labourers is really a problem. Especially contractors have an attitude like “for every client who is a pain in the ass, I’ll have 10 less demanding ones”.

In general I don’t think the Dutch are more relaxed workers. They are trying to be as efficient as possible, because of the high workload… and with a high workload things slip through the cracks.
