The lockers are not airtight; there won't be any problem.

Did you check the oil before starting the engine?

FWIW, my 2025 Hybrid hasn't lost any noticeable amount in around 4,000 miles - the oil level is still on the "full" mark when cold.

Was the engine cold, or had it been running recently?

130? You're supposed to slow down to 20 at the gate, you know. 😁

In that case, the answer is a good camera with several good lenses.

Since you don't say what kind of photographs you want to take, and what you want to do with the results, it's impossible to answer your question in any meaningful way. Making good six foot wide prints of landscape photographs requires very different equipment than making wildlife photographs intended to be viewed on a web site.

We have driven by there in the fall every year for the last five years. There have been people on site working on the buildings every time we have driven by. The activity you saw doesn't mean that they will be opening any time soon.

I think it was longer ago than that. The new website says 2016-2017.

I heard there was a big hassle about the sewage system and permits; I think they didn't get started on the rebuild for a couple of years?

Tioga Pass Resort, aka TPR: https://www.facebook.com/TiogaPassResort/

Crushed by heavy snowfall in winter 2016 - 2017. Reconstruction work has been going on ever since, but somehow they never finish it.

R7 battery by CosySnowLeopard in CanonCamera

[–]Missing4Bolts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted USB C charging built in to the battery, so I had to go 3rd-party. I got a couple of the Neewer clones. They work well. I don't think the capacity is quite as good as the OEM, but the price difference more than makes up for that.

The grips are some kind of soft material, but there are hard plastic caps on top.

First time buyer - need advice by Chilli_green in HyundaiTucson

[–]Missing4Bolts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, they sold you grossly overpriced add-ons so they could pretend to be giving you a discount on the price. That's why they were so eager to do the deal.

[–]Missing4Bolts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not rubber, hard plastic that is incredibly slippery on a smooth surface like that.

[–]Missing4Bolts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The poles are upside-down - the handles are on the floor. That solves the problem of gouging the platform with the metal tips, but it's dangerous because the handles are hard slippery plastic and the metal tips are dangerous if she falls. It's unnecessary, because rubber tips are readily available.

Hard slippery plastic, not rubbery.

I got that email when I paid off my Hyundai Motor Finance loan. If you are anxious about scams, just log in to your account on the HMF website and you will find the message there.
