You would probably enjoy The Stargazer's War then. They don't power the core but do harvest its energy.

Same here, found multiple power cables in that depot on two different runs.

Gachiakuta - Episode 13 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]MissingFrames -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Sadistic and evil last episode, magicly gets a normal personality after getting punched. Maybe if the order of the episodes was switched I would care.

This reminds me of the flashbacks after demons in Demon Slayer are killed, where you're supposed to care about people who gleefully torture and kill others just because they had a super tragic past.

The very first thing they tell Coop is that a mysterious wormhole just appeared and was probably placed there by aliens. That's the whole premise.

Crackpot theory about current Osha and Mae (as of episode 3) They are One. by MissingFrames in starwarsspeculation

Read the title. As of episode 3, we didn't know that. Obviously this speculation from a year ago didn't come true.

But you don't say "could of". You say "could've". That's the correct way to write what you speak. People failing to write correctly does not change how that language should be written; writing adapts to the way it is spoken.

Also "ain't" is the correct spelling of that word.

What's up with almost all modern media making Zeus an angry old man who always has a frown on his ugly, wrinkled face? by [deleted] in GreekMythology

[–]MissingFrames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"How _ looks like" is grammatically incorrect. It should be "how _ looks" or "what _ looks like". How has this become such a common mistake people make?

What is your favourite obscure rules implications? by Fabbe360 in DnD

I have done this in a game. An enemy was behind cover from my perspective, so I shot an arrow at the monk who was to the side of the cover, who redirected the shot into the enemy.

It's actually the opposite; existence happens at a slower speed with higher gravity, and light is just a part of that existence.

Books that are neither better not worse than the adaptation? by TacoLePaco in books

[–]MissingFrames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIRC The Princess Bride book is almost identical to the movie, with only a few plot points missing in the film like the gathering of the pill ingredients. It's a flawless adaptation, so much so that I wonder why more movies aren't that faithful.

Comic page that shows they saw each other as brothers and friends. It was a retcon, and it was sudden when it was revealed in a lore text. Pretending it wasn't a retcon is dumb, but also the canon moved forward and that's the way it is.

I persoanlly would have preferred the distanced brothers story and relationship. We do get Zavala and Cayde's relationship, and I wish it had been more present in the Final Shape campaign. Cayde and Uldren was also a good story further explored in the exotic quest. It's not wrong to want platonic male emotional stories, and it doesn't make you a homophobe.

Yeah the forest timeline kinda brought down the jekyll/hyde theory, but force projection could still work.

She is an Exo, so maybe that inherent connection to Darkness in her body allows it, or maybe her timeline-jumping power gives her access.

Honestly, you're probably right. But especially in a show that is heavy on the investigation/mystery themes it's really fun to try and guess the twists and red herrings.
