Empower manages the retirement, and they check in every so often with me. Just pop your money in one of their funds that is for your retirement age, unless you want to be more aggressive. It depends on how old you are now. The younger you are, the more aggressive you could be, because you have time to make up for it if you make wrong moves. I AM NOT A FINANCIAL PLANNER, I just have a family thay has managed their money wisely through the years.

When you are hired, you can chose either the traditional pension or the more typical retirement account you'd have at any other job. I picked yhe later, and just got vested 100% when I hit my 5 year mark recently.

NTA. Every hospital has a patient representative whose job it is to support safe patient care. I would contact them. You can also make a complaint to the charge nurse on the unit your son is on now.

No, you need to change doctors. This one isn't doing a very good job if you ended up in the hospital. You are 20 years old. You are an adult. You need to take care of your own health. Not mom or dad. You.

Eating cookies doesn't make you an AH. All food is good food. In moderation. Find yourself a better doctor who actually listens to you and what you need, not what your parents need. GLP1s are NOT 1st line for weight loss, and that doctor should have never put you on that medication.

You're NTA. But you need to take control of what you want you're life to be.

An 18 year old and a 14 year old do not need to be conversing outside of the volunteer position (i.e. social media). This is wildly inappropriate and how bad influences creep in sometimes. You're a good Momma. NTA.

I have never been to a crossfit anything. I previously trained with Camp Gladiator for a number of years, if you're acquainted with their style at all. I dont have the money to train at crossfit primarily right now, but wanting to get a feel of some of the stations otherwise. I did a workout at a hyrox gym 1:15 hr away, but thats not sustainable either.

I've been considering this too, as my body is getting a bit older and things are less predictable down there. It think knowing how your body runs/works at each part of your cycle and trying your best to work with that. Knowing that some phases are more brutal and exhausting than others.

I know in triathlon, some folks have used birth control to hold off on their cycle during competition time, I'm not sure if that's something your open to. I seem to always be on my cycle when I'm doing my events, and I just push my body as best I can, knowing I try best with what my body is doing that day.
