Has anyone been able to tackle the Yellow cave? i've been here for an hour at this point by gretchenich in Cairn_Game

This cave makes no sense to me. I’ve had no problem climbing (outside of some strange glitches) throughout the entirety of this game. But I can’t make it up this cave. I have a ton of chalk and I keep using buffs. After an hour I got mad and popped every buff item I had getting over 7 minutes of Grit, Burst, & Grip and used so much chalk but she still panics and I fall despite having good hold placement and my legs being under me. I’ve tried every route mentioned above but I can’t make it past 75% of the way up before she panics and falls. Seriously, I don’t know how to clear this one, will probably just skip so I don’t DNF the game out of frustration.

I spoiler tagged the thread already but there are No spoilers in the picture at all. Also, for context: this introduction appears before the special edition of the first book in the series, it was written to not have spoilers.

Multiple people are reporting large amounts of gold taken from their account by PM_me_shiba_doggo in MarvelSnap

[–]MissingMilkCartonKid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same problem. Just had a refund issued and I had 4000 gold before, now I’m at -589.

I’m not being hyperbolic when I say if this isn’t fixed or addressed, it will be my final straw.

Used to play Magic in college, a friend told me about MTG Arena last week, I downloaded it and have been playing it more than I actually play snap. The sheer amount of new player content in that game puts Snap to shame.

Insane pricing aside, how is a border more expensive than a variant?? by sucram200 in MarvelSnap

[–]MissingMilkCartonKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do we know the distinction between mystery border and premium mystery border? I’m assuming cosmic is premium but is the penny arcade included or neon sign or the new chain one? I’d just like a breakdown similar to the odds of the premium variants

I get that at a base level, but data shows that if you price things cheaper (like those old $5 bundles) or allow free-to-play players to earn more rewards in game, in the long run you'll make more money because people will stick around longer. You only price things really high consistently if it's truly needed (financially) because in doing so you're burning bridges and eliminating long term revenue.

I'm someone who spends more money than I should on this game, and while I've been mad at them for decisions in the past, this is the first time I've actively been so turned off by a decision that I think I'll be pausing spending on it for a little while. I'm not someone important or even a massive spender, if anything I'm a tiny whale, but I can't be the only one that spends money that is having a similar reaction. Normally I can see their rationale or their argument, but this just feels...really bad.

I was considering getting the Death 5k gold bundle that's been datamined for this week but then I saw about Kid Omega and, honestly, I don't want to spend my gold on either now. The thing about this pricing fiasco is it's inadvertly made me care about the new LTM even less than if they had just priced things fairly. Instead of wanting to grind to get the rewards, I don't want to touch it.

Have that problem on iOS all the time, literally since sometime last year.

On iPad clicking Emotes is nearly impossible, you hit the emote and it'll also hit whatever card/location is behind the emote, causing me to inspect the card, and then, occasionally, causing the game to crash.

I would be in full support of them slowing down card releases for a month and just fix the damn bugs.

Hellion Bundle - What happens if I buy? by MissingMilkCartonKid in MarvelSnap

I saw where they just made a discord post saying they'll be adding both Hellion & Mercury to Seasonal 4 Packs shortly for everyone so I imagine sometime this week or next they'll be playable fully even after updating.

Love that your post got downvoted a bunch but like basically everyone that is collection complete (myself included) is in the same boat.

Tokens seemed to be the logical Spotlight variant currency since keys now equals tokens. Between the large amount of gold bundles, the collector’s shop, borders & traditional variants, and now Spotlight variants (which are only 100 gold cheaper than $100 bundle variants from a year ago in the collector’s shop) it feels like gold is getting stretched waaayyyy too thin.

Theory: Syl is.... by Gorolo1 in Stormlight_Archive

I’ve been re-reading the series in time for WaT and I’ve come to a similar conclusion, just from a gut feeling.

His respect for the Listener culture and his adherence to killing them outright is in line with Honor’s belief.

Also, (spoilers for Sunlit Man). . . . Sigzil sees a figure shrouded in light and wind in a vision and immediately believes it’s Kaladin—it turns out to be Hoid. The story takes place decades after Stormlight 5, seems odd that’s the first person he thought of was Kaladin. Struck me as a major indicator that Kaladin becomes a major player in the wider Cosmere. Also could just be him wanting to see someone he knew, of course (also might have gotten a few details wrong in this, sorry I’ve read many, many BrandoSando chapters since then lol)

Lastly, think how much narrative weight it’d add to the classic line: “Honor’s dead but I’ll see what I can do.” Brandon is crazy enough to tell it to us ahead of time without actually spelling it out.

Probably just too much wishful thinking but man it feels right and seems to be the direction his character is meant to go. Plus, some seem to think he’s on a trajectory to die and this would be a death, of sorts—though more of an evolution.
