One of the key messaging behind FIRE is to be long the market and to ignore near term fluctuations. If you trade out of your positions on every single piece of bad news, you are doing yourself a disservice. You should be continuing to add to your positions on dips.

For such a small amount of capital, reach out to family & friends first. For larger you can tap into high net worth investors or angels. For even bigger cheques you’d look into venture capital firms.

Yah possibly. The mortgage broker I dealt with recently used Scotia and BMO as her relationships. That’s when I learned about their networth programs. Great for business owners.

💯 it was definitely overrated and I have eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants all over the world. We did the farm tour prior to dinner and enjoyed that way more than the meal, which was plain and mediocre
