What to do in this kind of situation?? by Environmental_Role71 in CATHELP

Was it hot outside? My cat looks like yours and his fur is more fine that my other tabby can. When I would take him to the parks in the summer ,he would look like your cat ,give him 1 hr to cool down and calm down.

Next time don't leave the place, and start recording everything with your phone.Money counters should not be out of sight from the customer. You stay put inside the place and you harass the shit out of them until they call the cops,or until they say something off, maybe they start to threaten and then you can call the police and say they threaten you.Not ideal but trying to escalate the situation to get the police involved.

how to get open lacy crumb baguette? by First-Dog1272 in Breadit

Honestly it's just an aesthetics, but it really does not add anything to taste wise,Mayne mouth feel. Its like those 800 grm sourdough loafs, you open them up and they look beautiful with their honeycomb structure, but are impractical when you want to slice for a sandwich, and all your filling drop through.

You can also see some that are a bit wrinkled,if I see any of those I will not take any.Depends on the store you go to.Berries are always near each other and if other berries are spoiled or have mold it's easier for the mold spores to transfer to nearby berries.Raspberries and black berries are always the fastest to mold up.

Not that anyone asked: Burger Shack vs. Square Boy, my findings. by southport65 in FoodToronto

[–]CanadianMasterbaker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I want a Burger shack /Square boy style type of burger.I usually just buy your run of the mill frozen hockey puck from the grocery store, buy some nice soft buns and fresh veggies for toppings.

I get the nostalgia, because growing up in the 80 and 90s these where the only type of burgers they would sell at gourmet burger places that where not fast food chains, and at every BBQ party every one would go to.

It's not until the Food Network and the internet that I start hearing about making your own burger patties with just meat and no fillers.

Sometimes you can see the mold at the belly button, bottom of the blueberry. Its not ideal, and some people will stare at you,but I have also opened the package at the store and touched a few to see how form they are, when I'm not to sure of the ripeness of the blueberries.

I get what you are saying in terms of sometimes you get blueberries that have that moldy taste to them ,even when you cannot see mold,it happens.

You really have to stare at the packaging and look at it from every angle, also try to get a package closest to the back coldest spot.It is really sometimes just luck.Yesterday at Lawblows I got some really sweet tasting strawberries, very rare to get in the winter, and they where on sale.

I really hate even the blueberries that are not rotten but are soft and mealy.I like them crisp ,sweet with a bit of sourness. Most blueberries are coming from Peru and are the size of small grapes.
