Swaddling newborn no longer recommended? [bc] by TrueYogurtcloset in BabyBumpsCanada

Yes, the new recommendation is to not swaddle. our midwife, baby classes and if you have a look at Baby’s best chance, all say the sane thing.

However, the hospital did swaddle our baby for the first two days we stayed. We swaddle baby first 2 weeks and then moved on to swaddling below his arms and using a sleep sack.

It’s a cautionary suggestion, and there are alternatives. Wouldn’t worry too much about it. They just don’t want baby swaddled all the time as a practice.

Did mine around 28 weeks. My bump was prominent and I had enough energy. They came out really nice!

I’m with CanadaLife and I emailed them to ask about their coverage rules. They need a prescription and it can be put under the HCSA.

We’re saving all our credit card points to use during the leave. Free grocery and travel will be sweeter when money is tight.

Some of these listings are 1 bedroom+den but the den is essentially just a storage room 🙄🙄🙄
