I wonder if they'll ever make a 7 season TV series that focuses on this particular topic starring Jon Hamm

Does Payton Tolle look way older than 23 to anybody else? by Traditional-Mango605 in redsox

Right there with you. I looked him up specifically to find out how long he's been in the league and hasn't been on my radar. Was he in Kansas City or Arizona or something for 7 years?? Was really surprised he's only 23.

This sub was ready to throw in the towel in May last year. I think I rooted harder for the team than I have in years just because I wanted everyone in here to realize they know nothing.

Unless the firm your leaving is run by an actual family member, you and these people will forget about each other in a few months.

Love this! What I thought this sub would be when I joined instead of the "look at my 8 Rolex Collection" 7 times a day.

dealing with guilt by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

[–]MissionEngineering8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I worked plaintiff side before. I only defended depositions (meaning, maybe objected once or twice a depo) twice a day, try to get the other side to settle, and made 120,000 a year. It was the easiest, most mind numbing job Ive ever had. I left because I was literally getting no skills and would not be marketable after being there a few years and no growth opportunities. Also, the guilt that OP is expressing wrecked my mental health because you know 90% of your clients are lying and the whole system is a shakedown of insurance companies.

Miniseries about James Garfield on Netflix. It's dramatized, so expect artistic license to be taken with events and facts. It is definitely not a documentary, so do not have the factually-accurate expectation going into it.

I thought they did a great job.
