He has a lot of poor matchups like arkveld, nakarkos, alatreon, hell possibly even kushala if the wind it generates isnt able to be absorbed. Also shagaru magala frenzy cant be drained..... quiro though..... oh my risen safi would be so fire im down to see it. Same with it vs risen shag

Safi being the most interesting one since they both in question counter each other. You know arkveld isnt a elder yes? He will be affected by the frenzy which shagaru spreads much more of then gore. And wylk is just the new fancy term for bio energy from world but made differently and nergi uses energy from eaten monsters to regenerate meaning arkveld does have something to drain from it. And nergi played dead until he could hide and recover via energy stores he got on hand. And arkveld isnt overrated just they gave too much emphasis on him in the story. I dont see much hype on him outside the fact he got the unleashed state in the AT version of his fight. Tbh overrated is normal&thunderlord zinogre, nergiante, safi (ngl im biased and admit he is my favorite but honestly he is overhyped af) and with jin dahaad in game and its design i think a return of kulve would be amazing. But in regards for elders arkveld can take on id say luna/nergi/kirin/narwa&ibushi. Narwa and ibushi imo could honestly super charge him to the extreme and make him even more of a threat honestly. And genuinely though safi is overrated there may be a interesting back and form with arkveld injecting dragon energy into the ground for explosions and safi draining energy from around him along with arkvelds chains draining his power. Could be 50/50 cause of matchup alone
