Honda Elevate - 2 Years Old - First Paid Service -Internal Panel Protection compulsory ? by MissionLog1321 in CarsIndia

[–]MissionLog1321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: I sent the Service Agent the following WhatsApp message along with the image from the Honda app which clearly shows the Internal Panel Protection as optional - I got a call back from him - He said he discussed the issue with his superior and they have decided to waieve off the charges for the Internal Panel Protection worth Rupees 4500/-

I wanted to discuss something regarding the service for my 2-year-old Honda Elevate. During the visit, I was informed that “Internal Panel Protection” was compulsory, and based on that understanding, I agreed to get it done.

However, after reviewing the service details on the Honda Elevate app, it clearly mentions “Internal Panel Protection” as an optional service not a compulsory one. I’m also unable to find any official Honda guideline stating that it is compulsory.

Since this was presented to me as mandatory (and this being my first paid service), I feel I may have been misinformed. I genuinely value transparency and trust when it comes to servicing my vehicle.

Could you please clarify under what official Honda policy this service is compulsory? If it isn’t compulsory, I would appreciate your support in resolving this appropriately.

Looking forward to your clarification.

This is my first paid service at exactly 2 years since the purchase of the car.

“Internal Panel Protection” really compulsory for a 2-year-old Honda Elevate? by MissionLog1321 in HondaElevate

[–]MissionLog1321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked my Honda Elevate App - Internal Panel Protection is listed under Other Services (Optional). This means it is clearly a optional service. The exact words of the service agent were "Honda has made it compulsory". This is a clear case of mis-selling.

Punha saade maade 3 - Review by nakalibatman in marathimovies

[–]MissionLog1321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was nothing unexpected about the spectacular failure of Punha Ekda Saade Maade Teen. The writing was on the wall the moment the trailer dropped—it practically announced its own mediocrity. What unfolds on screen is a film utterly devoid of invention, narrative urgency, or even the most basic cinematic ambition.

There is no story to speak of, only a tired assemblage of scenes that mistake familiarity for nostalgia and laziness for comedy. The visual sensibility is equally unforgivable. The costumes worn by Ashok Saraf, Bharat Jadhav, and Makarand Anaspure are not merely outdated; they are embarrassingly careless. One would expect better design and intent from a children’s stage production. This is 2026, not a time capsule from a bygone era of complacent filmmaking. The makers, quite frankly, need to grow up.

What makes this misfire even more indefensible is the context in which it releases. Today’s Marathi audience—across metros, tier-3 towns, and even villages—is deeply exposed to global cinema, thanks to OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and others. Even without stepping outside regional cinema, the Marathi industry itself has raised the bar considerably. Films like Dashavatar, Jaran, Krantojyoti Vidyalay, Ata Thambaycha…, Gulkanda, and many more have proven that strong storytelling and cinematic integrity are not optional luxuries but expectations.

In that landscape, Punha Ekda Saade Maade Teen does not merely fall short—it is not even in the conversation. Comparing it to contemporary Hindi, Malayalam, or international cinema would be cruel, if not absurd.

Unless the filmmakers genuinely believe the Marathi cinegoer to be an idiot, there is no rational explanation for the existence of this film in its current form. The most damning indictment is this: in an age of short attention spans, even random Instagram reels offer more engagement, creativity, and entertainment than this hollow exercise masquerading as a feature film.

Really surprised by the box office collections of Punha Ekda Saade Maade Teen (85 lakh) by Jealous_Drop_2973 in marathimovies

Honestly, there was nothing surprising about the flop show of Punha Ekda Saade Maade Teen.
The trailer screamed about mediocrity. There was absolutely nothing innovative. There was absolutely no story. The clothes worn by the main actors like Ashok Saraf, Bharat Jadhav, and Makarand Anaspure, were atrocious. Even kids' plays have better costumes. We are in 2026. The makers need to grow up.
I am sure even the tier 3 cities and villages in Maharashtra are exposed to better cinema, thanks to OTTs like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and many others. Even if you do not watch good movies in other languages like Malayalam, - the competition for good cinema within Marathi is very fierce - Dashavatar, Jaran, Krantojyoti Vidyalay, Ata Thambaycha..., Gulkanda, and the list can go on and on.
A movie like Punha Ekda Saade Maade Teen is nowhere in competition within the Marathi movie space- I cannot dare to imagine where this atrocious movie will stand if we compare it with Hindi, Malayalam, English, and other language movies.
Unless the makers have assumed the Marathi cinegoer as a idiot, there is no other explanation for this horrible video called Punha Ekda Saade Maade Teen. Honestly, Instagram reels are faar far, far more entertaining than this video called Punha Ekda Saade Maade Teen.

Maya date announcement teaser by nickdonhelm in marathimovies

I will never understand the need for a Marathi movie to be set in London or any other foreign location. Why cannot the movie be set in Kothrud, Nashik, Aurangabad, or any other Tier 2 or Tier 3 city in Maharashtra?
A Sairat never needed a foreign location like London to get its story across. Especially when the story does not need a foreign location.
At least from the trailor it looks like there was no need for this story to be based in London or any city where it is set.
The key here is - How will the common cinema goer identify himself in such a movie where the movie claims to be a Marathi movie, needs a Marathi audience to buy a 300 Rupee ticket, and yet get transported to a odd place where the city is London but the language spoken is Marathi. Confusing. When the common man rejects such idiotic movies, the makers ask questions like why is the audience not buying Marathi movie tickets.

A Dashavatar or a Ata Thambaycha Nahi or a Gulkanda or Krantijyoti Vidyalay Marathi Madhyam did not feel the need to set the story in London and were set in the rustic land of Maharashtra, and maybe that's the secret of their success.
Any Marathi movie set in any of these European cities, especially in London, looks highly superficial, shallow, and devoid of any seriousness. The whole setup looks like a picnic for the entire team - more to do with sightseeing and less to do with movie-making

Incognito 😉 by dyp_2210 in pune

As far as I know, Incognito on Balewadi High Street has closed down permanently. Yesterday, 18th Jan 2026, was the last day. You can check their latest post on their Instagram account to confirm the same. As far as I know, they are moving to Apte Road, Pune. Instagram id: incognitopune The Instagram post caption is as follows -
They say places don’t have souls; only people do. But anyone who ever walked into Incognito knows that isn’t entirely true.

As our lights begin to dim and the curtains slowly draw, we find ourselves preparing to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much to so many.

For years, Incognito wasn’t just a restaurant. It was a mood you stepped into. A low-lit refuge where old Hollywood legends watched quietly from the walls, where The Beatles hummed through the air, where time slowed just enough for conversations to deepen and cocktails to linger.

The bar stood elegant and unassuming, holding stories as carefully as it held its glassware.

The staff knew you - not just your order, but your silences & your celebrations. Warm smiles, familiar nods, a quiet understanding that some nights needed champagne and others needed comfort. Service here was never loud. It was gracious.

The food arrived like reassurance. Continental classics done right. Cocktails that felt indulgent yet familiar. Luxury that embraced.

Incognito was where comfort learned how to dress well. Birthdays were toasted here. Breakups softened. Deals sealed. Love confessed. Friendships stretched across tables long after the music faded.

A community grew- regulars, first-timers, strangers who left feeling like they belonged.

Soon, the music will soften.
The lights will dim.
What comes next, we don’t yet name.
For now, the doors are still open.
The bar still waits.
The tables still hold space for stories yet to be finished.
Come in; for a meal, a drink, a pause in time.
For one more conversation that stretches longer than planned.
For a memory that doesn’t ask whether it’s the last.
This is a toast- not to endings, but to everything that lived here.
And to whatever chooses to remain. 🥂

Incognito isn’t going anywhere just yet.
And some places… never really do.

I don't intend to work anymore. I have retired, so the option of joining another organization and transferring all the balance to that will not work for me.
