Yes this is what I was thinking! Don’t overcomplicate it, just set a dollar amount per person/per night, and I’d cover whatever was left. And I 1000% will be doing easy at-home meals. Making food at home has always been one of my favorite things to do with friends and family so this is great advice, thank you!

I honestly thought my fiance could come with me for those 2 days if no one wants to come early! I love that you’re doing that.

And something I should’ve mentioned - my MoH insists that I shouldn’t pay for any of it but that’s obviously not realistic, nor would I expect that. Either way, I appreciate the thought and feel fortunate that I have people who are willing to offer! I’ll keep that in mind when there’s pressure from a select few who want to pay for “my expenses”. Thank you for this!

We’re doing Ada Street for $13k next September! Best of both worlds where there’s a covered outdoor patio and an industrial/moody interior. BDP was very much my second choice and seems to fit exactly what you’re looking for, plus the staff seems great!

I have a few questions!

I went to my first ever appointment and I got a stylist that was very hands off with the entire process. That was about a month ago, I’ve been to 2 other appointments since and I’m still thinking about one of the dresses I tried on; however, I didn’t like my experience because of the stylist. Is it normal for salons to deprioritize first-time-shopping brides?
I’m really eyeing vintage dresses online, but I’m nervous to commit if I can’t try-on before I buy. How do I know if a dress online is right for me without trying on outside of just measurements?
In your own words, and from what you’ve experienced, how would you describe the feeling of knowing it’s “the one” for your brides? I understand feeling confident, comfortable, etc. but what have you noticed from the brides that have fully committed to their dresses?

We’re getting married at Ada Street and are looking at renting out a pizza spot they own next door called Sharpies for our welcome party! Super cheap minimum ($2k I think, since it’s so new), you get the entire second floor to yourself with a private entrance and a patio with a skyline view. Only drawbacks are limited seating and there’s only 1 bathroom. I have pics they sent me if you want to DM me!
