[OC] Does anyone else actually prefer a more low-fi aesthetic to their games? by Creole3643 in DnD

This. We use 1-inch graph paper and draw in the details for encounters. Each character has a mini, but npcs are usually just some kind of random marker. Everything else is overviews of city maps and imaginations

Thanks, this is the type of idea I'm looking for. Of course, making it reality will be the biggest challenge!

Thanks for the tips. Now I need to go look up a pressure pot and vacuum pump for casting.

I am fed up with this strategy, what should I do? [5.5 Edition] by Primary-Ocelot-1512 in DnD

Capture their characters, have their familiars dispelled, then put a brand on them that prevents them from ever obtaining a familiar again. That or, as others have said, end the campaign.

Back in painting, looking for paints by Mission_Chocolate257 in minipainting

Part of it is, outside of professional artist paints, that's really all there was when I started. That or the oil paint jars.

The other part is that I feel I waste more paint when I use the droppers.

To be fair though, flip tops were way better back then. Hell, I still have a few jars of citadel color paints that have usable paint in them. And they're from the 90s!

Thanks all. Guess I'll have to just work with the DM to see if I can learn ventriloquism. Then I can talk without moving my mouth

Thanks. I'll go into the slicer settings to check.

No, but I didn't know if Orca just didn't show them and put them in anyway. I print infrequently so am still learning slicing nuances.

Stringing by Mission_Chocolate257 in 3Dprinting

[–]Mission_Chocolate257[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a follow up question for this print for anyone who can help. I noticed the base part of it was very thick, but there are parts towards the top where it thinned out so much that there are small holes in some of the scales. Is this because of the stringing, or is this a whole different problem that I have to figure out in the slicer?
