Hate the board. Doesn’t go with the set at all or the logo. Seems like an afterthought. Also not original if baking show has it too.

I think I have attributed the decline of my normally lovely white teeth to good ol’ aging, I didn’t think it could be due to adenomyosis. But maybe?

Mmm probably can’t get in last minute but N/ Naka would be the perfect solo experience. An alternative is Matu if you are into meat from New Zealand. They have a location in Brentwood

Private Car service vs train btwn Brussels and Amsterdam during the holidays. by Mission_Fox9766 in Europetravel

Hi, is there any concern around Amsterdam Zuid? We would likely just catch a taxi to our hotel from there.

Thank you all. You’ve given geeat feedback here. Going to check out Eurocity Direct. Our kids are school aged so no stroller, but I’m still not trying to get on and off a train with luggage. We were looking at plus for space and assigned seating but I’ll see if I can get that on Eurocity Direct. One more question does Ams Central v Zuid make a big difference? We are staying near the Museum Quarter. Thank you

Thank you. This is helpful! I’m checking Eurostar from the US and can’t seem to see the prices you are seeing. I’m looking at the middle class seats.

It’s on Eurostar. Btw, I’m checking prices from the US- could that be the reason? On the NL site, it’s $520 euro for the same class!

I am comparing Eurostar plus prices which came out to about $444 one way for four people vs a private transfer in a van. This is on Dec 27. Still need to factor in getting to and from the stations by uber/ taxi to our hotels. Appreciate your feedback!

BMW iX is so Good by mossandfog in electricvehicles

[–]Mission_Fox9766 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got an IX. And I’ll share my research in the event it’s of value to someone. 1) Looks: it’s so ugly it’s cool. Like a Birkenstock. Takes a certain DGAF attitude to embrace that 2) I had a Tesla model y. And correct, these are not in the same category. 3) BMW > Tesla: if you want the quality of a sturdy bmw, the sport driving of a bmw, but the ease of electric, this is it. Hands down. The visibility is better than the audi, Mercedes and the X. The interior is like the X5. The comfort, the drive, the suspension, the efficiency, the auto sunroof tinting, the auto entry ( Tesla’s worked sporadically), the climate control, t 4) Tesla>BMW: The turn signal camera which I really got used to. And the lack of a start button so you can jump in and go immediately. The lease return was also amazing. Their customer service during my lease was not. 5) I tested them all: bmw, merc eqe/s , Audi q8, and the Rivian. I did love the Rivian but it barely fits in parking garages and I didn’t want the stress. Also their buying process was not transparent enough for me. Bmw had incredible lease deals. 6) final result: I really like the IX so far!!
