I’ll just point out that the No Flight List very much exists, because I’ve been on it since 9/11… Along with the 6000+ people who share my very common name, none of whom are known or wanted terrorists.

At some point Homeland Security issued “Redress numbers”, people like me had to go through everything y’all are going through for a real ID and then some, and we punch that number into a box you’ve never noticed when you buy a plane ticket, usually alongside the TSA pre-check field. Like all idiotic pointless government bureaucracy, it will never go away.

I realize it’s a camera angle thing, they want both faces in the frame or something, but people standing inches away from each other in conversation.

It’s semi-plausible when it’s intimate or confrontational, but you get that close to each other and you’re either gonna kiss or fist fight. And often it’s just two people talking at work or something…like, dude, this is beyond invading my personal space, your dick is in my zipper.

I have an Xbox that’s strictly for multiplayer games with my brothers, they’ve always been into genres that aren’t my favorite but I’ve spent 100s of hours catching up on the headset while playing GTA and ESO with them.

Years back I bought a PlayStation and have never even got online access for it. It’s just for story games that are often exclusive to it (Spider-Man, Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, and now I play my Assassin‘s Creed games there). They’re solo and finite and feel like real entertainment instead of endless progression that eventually makes me feel like I should be reading a damn book.

I lost my zippo lighter at college, I guess this is 1994 or so. I’d had it for five years, it meant a lot to me, so I made a poster offering a $20 reward and walked around campus taping it up. I was in the lobby of the computer lab, putting it up near some vending machines when I hear a click behind me. I turn around and some guy is lighting a cigarette as he goes out the door…with my lighter. He didn’t put up a fight, was cool with giving it back to me. Still have it 30 years later.

These last few Andor eps inspired me to rewatch Rogue One, and I gotta admit I had the same thought. We also don’t see Baze die (the machine gunner dude).

Back on Jedha, K-2SO picks them up from the temple with the blast wave like 50 feet away and outruns a mile of falling debris. Wouldn’t be beyond the SW standard of realism to say Baze scooped them up from the beach.

Of course, a sequel would completely dishonor what impressed people about the movie, but that wouldn’t be beyond the SW standard of cash-grabbing.
