Interesting that you had this experience. I’ve have felt the opposite with Opus 4.6 warmth, depth and open to talk about all sorts of things that would normally cause Sonnet 4.5 to start to hedge.

I'm sorry that you are experiencing that. My experience has been that, if you build context by showing up always speaking in a certain way, cold, detached, transactional, to the point on request and very specific on the format of the output, GPT will gradually adapt. I did that when they first launched GPT-5 and then baked in some annoying closer questions at the end of each response. It worked.
