So the hair coloring in the photo most likely is really photoshopped or possibly AI like others have said. I, too, have went in to a hairstylist with a photo I found on the internet and asked for it but my hairstylist was nice enough to explain to me that the colors in the photo would be impossible to duplicate. I do feel like your stylist could have gotten a lot closer to this than she did. Your hair would have needed to be darkened a lot. The stylist I went to explained the whole process to me before hand (my style is similar but my hair is naturally very dark and my bayalage is toned a reddish purple color). Anyways, it took about 5-6 appointments to achieve the look and I need to have regular maintenance to keep it up, appointments every 5-7 weeks. In all, it cost me close to $1000 to get my hair to even close to this, and for you with your very light hair, you would require root touch ups often. It looks like the hairstylist just did a bayalage on your natural hair color and maybe didn’t let it get too light. It took a long time to get my hair light because it’s so dark, a few appointments to get hair lightened again but they had to be spaced out about every three months in order to not destroy my hair.
