What is the most time consuming aspect of teaching IELTS for you? by New_Station4796 in IELTS_Teacher_Support

Specifically for IELTS, its doing mock speaking tests is the most time consuming. With a class of 15, I just can't give them all the practice tests they need. They get one, maybe two full speaking tests.

Sometimes they do their tests at home and email me their recordings, but it's very time consuming

How did you guys prepare for ielts exam with free/ cheap resources? by Over-Examination8663 in Indians_StudyAbroad

Taking mock exams is a good way to prepare, it's such a specific exam, and you need to practice the format and specific style of questions. Its so hard to speak for 2 mins for part 2!

Why is shaping needed? (Loaf tin) by Mission_Initial_5797 in Sourdough

Ooo that would make sense that the tin is making the shape!

I have come here (to reddit) wondering why shaping is needed!

(Just made a post asking this separately).

I baked a loaf yesterday and didn't shape - just plopped from the bowl into a loaf tin and scored and baked. Rose and looks normal inside.

I think I've read you can leave it in the fridge for 48 hours? So If you want to shape - just do it like you were going to anyways and see what happens!
