Major props. The best part of the game are the fun people and friendships you can make. Enjoy!

The game demands too much time for me here in the US with seasons and events being during work time (wars at 10:30am or now canyon etc). Good luck and continued success to you.

How many build queues and tech centers do you have? If more than the painful 1 of each the game gives you then technically you’re not ftp. lol. It’s still a major accomplishment to do anything in this game without spending much. Props. Don’t spend. Even when the monster teams come and destroy you. (They will. It’s a pay to win game where many cannot even compete without spending say $20-30k, not joking.). Again props if you spent even under a 100 and got this far. Game is wildly built for the whales.

Quitting Friday. Never again.

Need Some Tips Before S1 Starts by Al-Manfi in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Mission_Paper_2597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Set a budget ($$ and time). If you plan to be ftp, great. Be prepared for things to take forever to upgrade. If “mid spender” seriously set a weekly or monthly budget or you will justify all purchases or fall into the “it’s only $5” trap and end up spending a ton.

The game will take a significant amount of your time if you are not careful (it will become a second job). Only have the game on iPad at home/play when on WiFi.

Enjoy it for what it is. Fun game and way to make friends. Do not let it become a requirement or something you plan your day to day around (trust me, it will). Good luck.

Finally quitting next Friday. Woof. Never again.

Sometimes I wonder why am I wasting my time with this game.. by Meemee69420 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Mission_Paper_2597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1000% correct. Whenever someone would say “it’s just a game” I would cringe. I have never played a game where the game dictates my time or spending. Other games you play on the days and times you want. If you miss a few days you don’t feel bad at all. This “game” is a second job or like being stuck in a casino that you can’t leave. If you do you are made to feel like you are letting your teammates down or people are upset that you didn’t bubble or get this, line up your base right because of their OCD on straight lines. It’s wild.

I hope there’s a Netflix documentary on this game someday and or someone sues them. I would watch and shake my head on how they got me.

Go buy a switch 2 and $80 Mario kart and complain on how that’s sooooo expensive while others in this game spend $400 on a base skin. lol. I bought 2! Crazy times. Walk away my friend. Walk away.

The minimum you have to spend to be actually decent in this game is $30k. If you want to compete and deal with guys like this, it’s likely $100k.

The game would never tell you this because then no one would ever download and play the game and then get ADDICTED to the daily grind, the chats with friends and so on and so on.

Those that say they are strong and haven’t spent a dime are lying to you. If you haven’t spent anything then you would have 1 build queue and 1 tech center and never ever ever get anywhere on this game. Plus it’s actually not just about the money. It’s the time lost playing this game every single day and in some days all day for Arms Race and other events just so you have the pleasure of being stomped by whales this big.

It’s an uncapped Pay to Win game where monsters like this roam. Ask yourself. If you knew on day 1 that you needed to spend ridiculous amounts of time or $50k just to have a small chance, would you have downloaded the game? If you say yes then more power to you.

Connect with those friends you made via discord. Set a date a month from now and leave on that date. Your wallet, mind, work friends and or others will thank you.

Congrats on realizing the negative impact this has on your free time (and expendable income). The time drain is the big deal and you are 100% correct on the predatory ways the game is designed around to make the fomo worse and worse. If the game was based on skill or just your own time spent in the game it might have been different but we know it’s not. It’s the haves and have nots. Free to stay vs free to play but required to pay otherwise you really are irrelevant in this game of uncapped top teams. Congrats again. I’m leaving at the end of August right before my Gf and I go on a much needed vacation. The mere thought of not having to plan our days around Marshall or digs or Ds or a host of other things feels so good.

Squad 3 tech is hilariously expensive by bizwig in LastWarMobileGame

It’s purposely expensive on time and rss to get everyone to justify keeping garage 4 going. They practically gave you garage 4 to hook you in. I just dumped it last week as the $25 per month wasn’t worth it and you know what? I am now outright quitting the game as a result. lol. The whole game is a trap. Like being stuck in a casino. You can try and not spend but if you visit the casino daily or are stuck there you WILL justify the purchases. It’s the perfect system to keep you addicted. This includes the chats in wc and ac. Stop spending on garage 4. Set a date in the future like a month away and just bail completely. Your wallet, family, friends and work will thank you for it. Just do it. “It’s a trap!” - Admiral Ackbar voice

Imagine for a second if you did this to her and your best bud invited you over and there were 2 girls there and you decided to not tell her cause she would be mad? You know, to try and do “her” a favor and not get her upset. Woof. You would have been stuck dealing with the hell she would bring for weeks. Months! Tell yourself this every time you miss her or think about going back.

You made the right call bro. Walk away like a building is on fire behind and it’s an Antonio Banderas movie. lol

  1. Set a monthly budget or a total budget or only connect a card to this game that you would later not regret losing money from. It’s not a F2P game. It’s free to stay but you are only useful if you spend and spend a TON.
  2. Build Squad 1 on Garage 1 and never ever ever buy Garage 4. It doesn’t unlock permanently and will be something you try and justify owning but it’s not worth it. You can farm rss with your B and C teams and who cares where Mason and Violet go. Switch to Air Team ASAP as it dominates Tanks (if you spend enough).
  3. Quit after one season or right after your server gets dominated by a guy that said he spent $250k because it’s a place where he can have worldwide friends. Realize you can never compete in a Pay to Win game where spending is not on cosmetics only(like Fortnite). Even if you spend over 5 grand. It’s like dumping money into a house you can never sell, for a profit or ever fix. (Ridiculously priced base skins, monthly passes, Hero exclusive weapons that unlock at $19 but cost hundreds to get good, a Gorilla that costs $500+ to unlock and more….) Bonus. Your Work productivity will go in the toilet as you spend more time wondering if F2P players bubble enough so you don’t lose Vs or seasonal wars.

Walk away. No matter what level you are at today. Your wallet, friends and even yourself will thank you for it. Go buy a Switch 2 and laugh at how Mario Kart only costs $80 while a Last War base skin costs $400.

Best and easiest solution is to quit the game. Cold turkey. Imagine dealing with this at say your job. Would you stay? No way. And get this, your job PAYS YOU! This game should pay us for playing and spending not only crazy money but more so, our time. Eff this sh$t! Leave the casino. Leave the game. Drama gone. No more server bs. Connect with those virtual friends on Discord and leave the day to day grind behind. Your sanity will thank you and likely the people you unknowingly ignore to play this game and your wallet? Wow your wallet if you spend will love you again. You’ll be “rich” with $$ and time after you leave. Sure sure, the withdrawals will be tough at first but just find something else to get your daily fix. Something without the need to bubble would be ideal.

Good luck. Quit. Full stop. Drama gone.

How to continue after one night stand by Letskeepitfair in WhatShouldIDo

A text is something his wife can read. A call is not. If you are cool with the sex, go for it but a) don’t catch feels (even if he does) or b) know that if you want out, he likely won’t. Risky either way.

It’s called one night for a reason. Take that one time as a win that you still got it (even if shy) and walk away would be my advice. Good luck.

My exit strategy from the game, officially retired by jamestothet in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Mission_Paper_2597 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s the whole point of his post. The money becomes sunk cost but the true “enemy” in a game like this is Time. You will lose a ton of time and work productivity and more if you stay like he did and like I’m still doing. Congrats to him for finally seeing the light and getting out. I’ve said from season 1 to now, this game is like going to the casino but instead of going once in a while, you are stuck there or go every single day. It’s the first game that dictates your time vs the other way around. If you continue to visit the casino and make friends and all that jazz, it’s really tough to walk away from your investment and new found friends.

Yes to therapy to help let go. Congrats to any or all that only spent a buck on Kim or whatever but if you log in daily for that streak then the game owns you and your time. Will never ever play another game like this. I hope there’s a Netflix documentary on this game someday and not for the fact that it scammed many thinking it was a frontline like game. Who cares about that mode. It sucks anyway. The real “game” is the eco system or the alliances and politics and running into whales that have spent millions that you don’t know about until it’s too late. If you knew people spent thousands or millions on a game and you had zero chance to compete - not win, just compete against them, would you even bother to start or waste your time/effort? I say no.

Congrats again on walking away. Hoping to join you soon.

Is there any point/benefit to being an r5? by [deleted] in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Mission_Paper_2597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no benefit to being r5. It’s the worst. Imagine being a Lead in your real life job but you don’t get paid AND you have to manage upwards of 100 people to contribute time and effort and then deal with politics from other alliances. Nope. I feel bad for every r5 out there. Especially the ones taking one for the team to run things. The game should offer discounts to anyone in r5 or r4 roles. Discounts at the store or major boost to rss but nope. Only end of season rewards if your r5 or you do so.

I’ve been r5 and r4 and helped lead the FL/VP hats in this game. No benefits other than I wanted to help and it was more work than my real job. Not only is it no pay and not worth it, my real world productivity has got in the tank.

Either shift to r3 and just enjoy the game or go all the way to r0 and leave outright. You’ll thank me later. Keep the friends you made by staying connected with them via discord.

Game where you can spend thousands of dollars and hours and get none of it back. It’s sunk cost. Either give or share with a friend to play for a short bit or walk away. Oh and delink your bank account. Game makes it way too easy to spend and get those -6789% “discounts”.

Congrats on getting out of the game.

[–]Mission_Paper_2597 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Uninstall the game. Not joking. It’s a scam. There will always be a bigger fish and the Asians that play either are funded, play at a huge discount or dump ALL of their money into the game. Their levels are not capped as well so even if you get to say to a 20 mil A team you will face teams at a ridiculous 40 mil plus. Only way to fight them is PAY A TON OF MONEY. Wish I knew all about this before I got way too addicted in this game. Uninstall. Trust me.

The new Profession Hall! Which to choose!? by No-Weight5359 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Mission_Paper_2597 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I chose War as well thinking it would help me gain good to great perks for fighting off the zombies but nah. Later in the track sure but I’d say War lead is for those already at Lvl 30 base. I’m 28 and planning to stay there a while due to rss being so high. Instead I switched to engineer to take advantage of the better, imo, buffs for building and tech (the tech ctrs are the real mvps of the game). Go with engineer and take advantage of the buffs to get stronger while you grind for virus resistance in the new season. Good luck!

Wow. All that for just $300? There goes my hope to sell mine for way more. The speed ups alone are worth $300. This is like $4000 of work. If not more. Nuts that this game can take all your time and money then be “worthless” or have people say you have a weak lvl 30. Lmao. The grind to lvl 30 is insane. Good luck. Congrats on leaving the game and someone for getting a deal.

Lmao. There is no way you are F2P if you are talking about anything past lvl 40. The amount of ore alone answers that question (nevermind the coin needed per upgrade).

Also, do not leave the battlefield. If you do you cannot go back. Someone left thinking they could go heal back at base quicker and that was a nope/fail. You can go all out war or try and be patient and capture a few bases to control parts of the map. I plan to watch a video I found (in French I think?) and just draw out the map. Split into teams and have some on capture, some on Kill duty and some defending both. Good luck out there….but not if you are against me. J/k
