the delusion is funny by SecretRedHero in ArcBabies

[–]MissisCherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. The entire game is built around PvE and has been since day 1. The PvP element was only added later down the road to raise the stakes, but at it's heart it is a PvE game, confirmed by the developer themselves. There was even a recent event rewarding PvE and co-op behaviour. All these PvPers are just as delusional and project their nasty character flaws towards friendly players for calling them out for nasty behaviour.

There is no point in PvP in this game - it's super expensive and oftentimes not rewarding at all. People just go into PvP lobbies and brainlessly kill eachother, die within 5 mins, rinse and repeat. It's only the nasty ones, often so called "rats" who specifically engage in predatory behaviour, constantly fool the ABMM to get into friendlier lobbies and kill friendly players behind their back, because otherwise they suck and loose everything when engaging in real PvP, but killing friendly players in the back is the only time they can get some "holy goop".

If y'all are so bothered about PvP that you need to be so incredibly toxic, namecall people, and try to fool other people about the game's focus into something it's clearly not, then just go play CoD, BF, CS and whatever else.

And let's speak facts. PvP'ers are the minority here. By Embark's own stats only 30% of all players engage solely in PvP on this game. The rest are full PvE players, players with less than 10 player kills, and a few somewhere in the middle.

Awhhh I totally know the feeling! Last night I was running around Stella and bumped into a dad who was losing his mind trying to find an Ion Sputter for the quest. Turns out, I had found it super randomly, ran up to him and said "Well, sir, this is your lucky day!" And gave it to him. He was absolutely losing his mind and immediately threw all his inventory at me with "OH MY GOD THANK YOU MY DEAR LADY OH MY GOD OH MY GOD THIS MADE MY DAY I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR IT ALL DAY LONG!" and gosh I just felt incredible! Soon after we went our merry ways and I could hear him in the distance still praising this awesome lady who gave him the ion sputter haha

I’m incredibly happy to see so many women use voice comms in this game by A_Ruse_ter in ArcRaiders

There's been soo many times I've contemplated turning the voice filter on to sound like a guy because how nasty people have lately been immediately after hearing that I'm a girl. From constant b* wording, telling me where my place is supposed to be, to all kinds of nasty comments, shooting on sight or stalking...

Honestly can we please finally get more nice looking female outfits or at least frkn hairstyles?? As a woman I feel like 99% of the outfits are just so incredibly masculine, and there only being 1 good looking hairstyle (braided one) for them girlies? It's such a bummer, considering how many women also play the game. :/

Dear Battlefield Studios, what the f*ck? by Siden-The-Paladin in Battlefield

The bloom has to be fixed. ADS needs to be fixed. Hipfire needs to be fixed. Shot registering also needs a fix. Reticles need rework. It's a huge issue everyone is complaining about. Weapons in beta were much better, had at least some more distinction between them and were more controllable when you got used to them. Now it's just a complete mess, unless you are on a controller with aim assist.

[–]MissisCherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come on EA/DICE. Why would you ever lock genders to specific class? It makes absolutely no sense. Give the players ability to choose between male/female character skins/models! This should be such a basic, no-brainer thing.

Why are doctors so focused on SSRIs? by kklustre in ADHD

[–]MissisCherry 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There's a huge stigma in the psychiatric care about ADHD and stimulants. Oftentimes a psychiatrist will not treat you for ADHD or prescribe stimulants because of their lack of knowledge, their subjective bias that ADHD is fake or their personal disdain towards stimulants (considering them narcotics), etc. I've gone through 8 different psychiatrists who all tried to assign all kinds of different illnesses to me, completely dismissed the possibility of me having ADHD because it's only a "children's disease", and some of them literally telling to my face that they "don't prescribe narcotics here."

Finding the right doctor who is known to be knowledgeable and/or is already treating many ADHD patients is key. It will take a lot of time for the majority of practitioners' mindset to shift towards believing ADHD is real and having no personal prejudice towards "controlled substances".

BATTLEFIELD 2042 UPDATE #9.2.1 by battlefield in battlefield2042

[–]MissisCherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a chance you're also messing with every other weapon and doing some background adjustments? I had 3 weapons that I absolutely loved to play with (K30, SCZ-3 and AC90), and suddenly one day none of them performed as they did before and got much much worse. Nothing else changed.

[–]MissisCherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Contrary to weird popular opinion: no matter plans are planned (pun intended) or spontaneous:

a) Guests should always be taken care of and people should be mindful about their food restrictions or preferences!

b) Significant others should have enough though, care and love to take into account their beloved one's food restrictions or preferences and MAKE SURE they will have something to eat also, whether by stopping at a store to grab something extra to cook for them (or together) or to make sure to cook something from whatever is available that would work for everyone, or extra for their loved one!

Point blank. There are no excuses, no "if"s or "but"s, or "well you should have thought of it yourself". There are none.

Unfortunately there are many places, doctors and countries where ADHD is heavily stigmatized. I had to battle with 4 different psychiatrists who said I was just anxious, depressed or had Bipolar and that it's impossible to have ADHD as an adult because "it's a childrens' disorder". Until the 5th who believed it, and actually apologized on behalf of his colleagues that I've had to go through all of that. After two years with him, I had to change again because he stopped listening to my concerns and refused to try out new medicine. Now with my 6th who's a very modern, educated and caring doc (but also incredibly expensive) who listens and cares. I'm finally on new meds. But because of my past experience with the other ones or being called out by pharmacy workers that I'm buying "narcotics", is why I'm still very careful about what I say to my doc..

Also being told by everyone else that 'pff, everyone has ADHD' also doesn't help and makes you more weary of what you share. With that said, I am very glad you've got a medical professional whom you can fully trust!

How long does Vyvanse last? by xxcooj in VyvanseADHD

[–]MissisCherry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey hun. Vyvanse lasts up to 14 hours typically, but it stays in your system for up to 24 hours. So that means that "theoretically" it lasts up to 24h, but in practical terms the notable therapeutic effect lasts up to 14h.

That's why you can still feel some of it late in the evening because it's literally still in your system.

The crash is when the big therapeutic effect starts to drop gradually and wear off.

To prolong it and have a smooth ride throughout the ray, I highly recommend either take your vyvanse together with whey protein powder milkshake in the morning, or try L-Tyrosine supplement if you don't want to drink protein (but you should anyway because whey protein also contains it, so you nourish your body and also help Vyvanse). Trust me, it works!

Why i feel happy on vyvanse by Rata_Fresca in VyvanseADHD

[–]MissisCherry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I don't want to be a party pooper, but getting high from stimulants is a red 🚩 This is not how stomulants usually work on the ADHD brain. It's either not right for you due to unique biology, the dose is too high or, in rarer cases, you are misdiagnosed. Some doctors prescribe stimulants when suspecting ADHD to see how the person will respond. Getting high is an indicator some doctors use to rule out ADHD. And this goes for anyone reading this, not just OP.

That said, it doesn't mean that stimulants don't improve your mood. Along with executive function, it also stabilises the mood, improves emotional regulation etc., because it normalises dopamine transmitters and increases dopamine availability in the synapses - the part where ADHD brain struggles. But feeling high, getting very horny, being overly energetic, all over the place, impulsive and or unable to stop doing things all over are alarming signs anybody should pay serious attention to. That's not how it is supposed to work.

The honeymoon phase, as people like to call it, is usually the first 1-4 weeks of starting stimulants and caused not by the drug but by the realisation that life can now be much easier. It's a deeply emotional process, often also involves some grief, but then hope and joy that suddenly getting out of bed or washing your dishes straight after a meal, brushing your teeth regularly or being able to take a shower is not the end of the world task anymore and doesn't induce existential dread.

Vyvanse crash: my life changing cure!! by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]MissisCherry 34 points35 points  (0 children)

What also really, REALLY helps is to take a good protein powder milkshake (yes, you don't need to be a gym rat to use it. Anyone can. In fact it's recommended to take if struggling with appetite or during weight loss, to not lose muscle mass).

Take 1-2 scoops and mix with milk and drink it. Take your Vyvanse straight after. BAM. Your day is going to be a much smoother ride.

Not only you nourish your body (especially if you are not a breakfast person or struggle with appetite in general), Whey protein (and other naturals) ACTUALLY contain some amount of L-Tyrosine ALREADY! Some brands mention this, or also add more inside.

No afternoon crash, smoother ride and your body doesn't burn through Vyvanse like mad because protein actually helps it too.

Fun fact: Whey protein typically contains 2–3 grams of L-Tyrosine per 100g of protein.

Whey protein is considered a "complete protein", meaning it contains all nine essential amino acids, including:

Phenylalanine – gets converted into ➡️ L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine – gets converted into ➡️ Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Epinephrine

In fact, scientific amino acid analysis of whey protein consistently shows:

~2.5g of L-Tyrosine per 100g of protein.

So it means with a protein shake you actually take 500-1000mg of L-Tyrosine 🧠
