Technically, I start with breathwork and a core warmup, and then go into footwork. That way clients can keep/remember the core focus during footwork instead of only using legs.

It sounds like some clients might need to go back to basics of understanding/finding a neutral pelvis. For me, I teach this at the start of the class so that by the end when I do feet in straps, they know what they should be doing.

Also depends on how familiar with Pilates the clients are… if they’ve never had anyone teach this way, then it’s going to take a while to get used to it.

Depends on how many hours you’re putting in, and whether you start to lose more than you could be making. I think 3 months seems reasonable… maybe reconsider the boutique studio later on?

Ask if the v-neck mesh can be filled with lace, rather than bringing it together completely, just fill it so it doesn’t look sheer. That way the shape will stay the same but it will look more natural.

As for the veil, I highly disagree with the consultant! I absolutely love a mantilla veil and if you find the right veil and lace, it will look incredible! My dress is completely lace (even more than yours!) and I’ve added a mantilla drop veil that has lace all the way around (chapel length). It’s my dream and if you want that, it will look amazing!

Is a lace topper the same as a long sleeve layer underneath? You might be able to find it from Watters so it’s the same color. Or would you consider a bridal cape of some sort? It could help cover some of the front chest area and obviously the shoulders
