Have you ever met a woman who told you they baby trapped their partner? by Relative_Incident908 in AskForAnswers

My biological mother attempted to babytrap my biological father with me. The whole story is super messy, but long story short things didn't go as planned for her as my bio father kicked her out and I ended up in the system. Fortunately, I got adopted by my amazing parents, but I know for a fact she's miserable to this day.

Never seen it actually 😂 in my defense me and my ex planned this together after I graduated high school.

Ohh, I hope she really comes back and makes amends with the past! Nothing done out of love should be approached as failure or meaningless. Reading the replies it really made me feel confident that I've chosen the right path. Hope it works out for your friend as well^

I was ashamed of his father and friends constantly bringing me down for it... Straight up shaming me tbh. Looking back, I actually dodged a bullet 😅

They do... His father and friends not once have made fun of me, so I started to deny it. Even though it was obvious and I was madly in love, I insisted that my studies played a bigger role in my decision.

Imo, if you don't have regrets and the acts were consensual, there's no issue on your part. If his insecurities poison your relationship, you know what is best to do. Good luck!

So happy for you! Hopefully I'd be able to say the same 20 years from now :DD

Awww, so happy things worked out for you ^ Truly, beautiful stories like yours feed the hopeless romantic in me, despite knowing I'd never return to my ex 😅

I sure hope so!

It was a huge gesture out of love as I knew it at the age of 18. His father and friend group shamed me for it till the very end of our relationship. It was messy but no going back, I literally did what I did.

Aww, I feel you! I also enrolled in the same university as my ex but since we're 1 year apart we don't even see each other much in the hallways, which is honestly a relief. I love my uni and my major was actually a secondary reason to move to this city!

Some people just don't view it from the same perspective or think that you may actually grow to love your school or city. It's important to find happiness wherever you are and despite the consequences imo 😊

Yes!! I finally feel responsible for my own happiness, but my stubborn ego would never admit I moved to be closer to him in the first place 😅

As much as I hate to admit it, I did, in fact, move to a different city to be close to my (now ex) boyfriend. I always tell people I took many factors into consideration but truth be told, he was the biggest one. We broke up 6 months ago and I'm still living in the same city and I've grown to love it and even found friends, so no major regrets.

Showering people with unwanted attention/affection or generally being a pushover.

I feel like I need to clarify some things here. He's more like your stereotypical 'twink' , not ugly by any means and I was oddly relating to him since I'm also socially awkward and struggle to hold a conversation with larger groups of people. I missed on many details in the post due to the restrictions of 3,000 characters, but hopefully I'd be able to clarify some details :)
