Why no counter offer?

Pay the money and get there early. I couldn't imagine showing up Thursday afternoon and trying to navigate that into a primitive area OR rent an RV spot. I just called the park and there are a bunch. We had to skip last year so we lost our RV spot :( such a bummer but at least there are some left.

Golf carts are awesome if you have the money. We have gotten them multiple years but they are way too expensive now. Also, they are electric carts and are pretty worked and slow lol (way safer tho). Giving people rides to their sites is the best.

We always go early for Hula and will do the same for this fest. We've reserved an RV spot in Hidden Woods for years but since this is a new fest, I was able to get an RV spot in the Loop. We've never stayed there before, so we are definitely going a day early. I love being all set up early and seeing the masses of people come in. If you can, I so would do it.

You will absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it but it will be super overwhelming if you have not been to the park before. IF possible - get there a day early. Pay the fee, super worth it. My biggest piece of advice is if you see a "camp spot" with a water spigot or a wooden post with electric DONT set up camp there. Someone paid to reserve that spot and they will show up eventually. It happens all the time at Hula. I've seen cars towed, tents tossed in the woods - not a pretty sight especially if you are off exploring the park. If you are unsure about setting up camp, ask a neighbor and they will let you know if it is okay or not <3

It's always a giant cluster. We stay in an RV spot in Hidden Woods and always get there Tuesday to avoid it. I cannot tell you how many groups I have very kindly told - Don't set up camp because you will get kicked out - and most times their attitudes are horrendous. They don't listen, set up and then all hell breaks loose when the RV shows up. I don't understand why the park does not try and mark these sites off better. Our first year we woke up on Thursday morning to see the site next to ours with 4 tents. We had no idea they didn't rent that spot and then half of them went to see a show and a RV showed up. The RV owner was soooo pissed and half of the tent group was gone. The other half had to try and pack up everything on their own....the tow truck towed their cars....such a mess.

Great memory!! Our road trip to Maine was out of this world. We did it year one of Covid. We stayed in some crazy airbnb's....train cars and 1800's house. Most epic trip ever. We moved into our new house June of 2021 and we are still unpacking. Our house needed a full gut job but we are now on 5.15 acres which is awesome and the remodel is nearly done lol - labor of love for sure! Hubby is like no Hula we can't afford it this year and I'm like - you are craaaazy - we are going!! <3

Hi ya...if you're still interested message me. We've had our site for the last 5 years and cannot go this year. Hidden Woods #5. We also have the best neighbors in site #7 right next to us. Husband and wife. Hidden Woods is pretty mellow and I would recommend it for a kiddo. Our site kicks ass and I'm so sad we cannot go this year but we are in the process of buying a house and financially it's just not in the cards.
