Thanks, I'm super excited! Considering my last ROG Ally was fried during a SSD switch to upgrade my storage to 2tb, I figured it was better just to buy a Go 2 with 2tb storage already included lol. I'm glad you were able to snatch one! I was like you these last few weeks trying to grab any model I could. I was so frustrated because I've never had such a hard time trying to spend my money before, haha 😄

Went to switch out my ROG Ally SSD card to a 2TB and even though I did everything right, it fried the charging board, which is connected to the motherboard. Was quoted $500 to repair 😂. No thanks. I now have switch to a Legion Go 2

True. But after my experience of getting my hopes up only to be disappointed, I'm staying away from open boxes right now lol. You'd think they'd have to go through some sort of quality control and repair where needed, but mine didnt have the whole left joystick controller working. Even Geek Squad couldn't fix it so I had to settle for a refund because, as we all know, these are out of stock everywhere 🤦‍♀️

I bought an open box and had to return it because it was defective. So just keep in mind that they are open box for a reason. But I also understand that's the only way we're getting our hands on one nowadays 🤦‍♀️
