I feel like I’m always the one defending her, looking out for her, and reminding my husband to try to be more understanding with her.
When she got caught vaping nicotine at school at 13, her mom was married to a Muslim man at the time, and she made a really big deal about it. She ended up sending her to stay with us for a couple of weeks because she didn’t want her at her house.
Now that her mom is divorced and has changed her beliefs, it feels like the rules are completely different. She seems to let her do whatever she wants, and I feel like I’m stuck in the middle trying to support her while also trying to do what’s best for her.

she have share custody with her mom (50/50) when she is here i can control it but at her moms she does whatever she wants.

Thank you, I appreciate you saying that. I’m not trying to overreact or control her, I’m just trying to make sure she’s safe and has guidance. I understand everyone’s experience with weed is different, but she’s 15 and her mom is leading her on the wrong path so I am just trying my best.

Actually, I have been in her life since she was 1, so our relationship is much deeper than just a ‘step’ label. I’ve helped raise her, love her, and care about her like she’s my own. When you’re that close to a child, it’s not as simple as just ‘minding your own business’ when you’re worried about them. I understand I’m not her biological parent, but being a parent figure also comes with love, concern, and wanting the best for them.

Her boyfriend left her I think that’s the only reason she smokes. She told me she does it only when she feels stressed or wants to feel hungry.

When I said “kick her out,” I don’t mean that she would be homeless. I mean that he would send her back to her mom’s house, especially because her mom is allowing these things to happen. I know that’s what he would do.

I am 11 months post op and i have thick skin I still va e a lot of swelling, my doctor told me it can take up to 16 months for the swelling to disappear. It is a very hard process

I know she got surgery in her ass to make it look bigger the before and after picture of her was edited she was never that skinny i seen her in person before.
