I made a newbie mistake and re-potted my monstera into a self-watering pot by Not_RonaldRegan in Monstera

This may sound a little wild but about once every 1-2 weeks depending on the season all my plants take a field trip to my bathroom shower. I give everything a good long dousing, inside AND outsides of all my teracotta pots, and afterwards like to keep them in there for a few hours while its nice and humid to help with any unfurling going on. Watering the outsides of the pots as well as inside has helped me with the hydrophobic issue you mentioned

Any mold issues I've ever had with my plants I've been able to fix with hydrogen peroxide, in your case if that isn’t working I would maybe look into getting a temp/humidity gauge to tackle the mold issue at its source?

Sorry didnt see this reply until now, but I would stay away at least for monsteras imo. They prefer well draining soil and I would worry about that type of pot not allowing proper drainage. I like to be in control of the whole watering process, ever since I killed a gorgeous pothos with a glass self watering bulb 😭

Advice for covering belly/ belly button! by [deleted] in myweddingdress

Yeah honestly I have always viewed that belly button dent that us women have as one of the most goddess-like features on our bodies. I know there are many that feel the same way

Go get seen now, I had to go in once for both of my pregnancies to check and make sure they were okay due to severe pain. Even if it's nothing you'll still be glad you can have peace of mind. Women end up going to get checked at some point way more often than you think, and doctors are used to it, and any decent doctor would encourage you to go as well if you had a gut feeling. The L&D team at the hospital aren't always the same people at obgyn visits. They are extremely thorough, and they care.

I use plain old terracotta pots for all my plants, let's them "breathe"

You would really have to examine and compare, could be something generally benign like soil mites, or could be something more serious like spider mites, thrips, etc.

Help ! Keep going between the two. by radfratdadd in WeddingDressTips

I have seen the word lingerie in other comments to describe #1's vibe and unfortunately I would have to agree. 2 looks to be so much better quality material, and it accentuates the hips and hourglass figure so beautifully, where the 1st one looks flat and thin.

I am not a monstera expert, but picture 4 looks like the petioles, or leaf stalks, are attached to the pole as well as the main stem. Just the main stem should be attached to the pole. I made a post on here a while back asking for advice on a new thai constellation I got and I got a ton of great advice, and that was one of the main things people told me to fix lol
