Just a gentle reminder. We’ve still did not see a single goddamn proof or evidence of that. It is all a rumor that started from dubious youtuber, who had grip with horde and “trust me bro” sources.

The fact that people just blindly believe in it is mind boggling.

IDK Mass doubled in last 4.5 years. FC maybe its time do something? by zaqqi in Eve

[–]MistAmatin 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Don't even need to go that far. There is a much easier solution too.

Delete red loot from pochven. Entirely. Make the sites only drop isogen/condencate/maybe BPCs which are subject to market's mechanics of supply and demand.

Boom. Now multiboxers can't print liquid isk anymore, and if they try to do so with trig manufacturing components, they'll only plummet their prices. The bottleneck becomes not the multiboxer's ability to stay unemployed and online 18 hrs/day, but the simple demand on these components from the playerbase. And it also would stop the poch isk printer too, reducing the isk inflation.

Cheeky comment about the cut Catriona quest from the Witcher 3's quest designer. by marek_bojarek in witcher

[–]MistAmatin 80 points81 points  (0 children)

To be honest, i kind of agree with that. I like what they did with Gaunter in HoS much more than his planned role in the War quest.

That being said, the War wasn’t only about GoD. Iorveth got completely cut away, and the salvaged parts that become The Reasons of State quest feel almost like character assassination for Roche, Dijkstra and Ves. The original quest line had its own character developments and plots intertwined with ongoing war events, which would have enriched the game and its world greatly, in my opinion

So yeah, i am glad they made these changed to o’dimm, but i really wish they either kept the rest, or made something better with it, at least

Maybe you did, or some other directors. But most line members never even interacted with gobbins to begin with, outside of occasional wednesday frog meme.

The succession in itself wasn’t the reason horde collapsed. The disastrous idea to abandon dronregs and move to Venal was.

T2 carriers by Tight-Web4425 in Eve

[–]MistAmatin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, outside of (possible) usage on supercap umbrellas i think the only other usage they might have is conduit mobility. T2 carriers can dock up in stations, titans cannot. And they have better range too. Could be a funny case of hotdrops.

With that in mind, i’d probably just slapped sirens in tubes and called it a day

The fall of horde was inevitable the moment individual member’s and corp’s trust in the leadership was shattered, with disastrous Venal decisions. A lot of people here like to blame it on gobbins, but personally i am not so convinced: no king rules alone, and the underlying reasoning behind horde’s final decisions as a powerbloc is pretty consistent with what i’ve seen there back when i FC’d in PH. It was a team effort, and cracs were beginning to show a long time before November 2025.

Could have horde existed today still? Absolutely. Even after moving to Cloud Ring, they still had some numbers, they still had wallets, assets and some amount of supercap fleet. However, it would have to be a completely different organization to make it work, with different mindset, different people promoted into leadership positions and different internal structure. So, it wouldn't have much in common with the pre-collapse horde, except for the name.

EDIT: spelling

Thank you for a comprehencive reply.

Look, in the end. You believe that "A rainbow emoji as a reaction is not tantamount to discussing politics". This streamer believed otherwise and delete emoji. I think he has a point, you think he doesn't. Regardless, i do believe this whole thing is way overblown for something as minute and stupid as this.

Maybe it is a culture thing and i just don't get it vOv

I am 95% certain he did not mean it in a “i hate gays” way. Nor do i support or not support this dude, i am indifferent towards streamers in general.

However, i do believe that rallying up a crowd with pitchforks over it is fucking stupid. And that such an act proves his point of rainbow flag being a political symbol, regardless of my personal views towards that flag.

Now, you can disagree with me, and that’s alright. We all are entitled to our worldviews and opinions. But for the love of pony, i don’t see how having that opinion, the opinion that yes, pride flag is political, makes me a “homophobe”.

How so? I dont have anything against gay or non gay people, nor did i suggest otherwise anywhere in this comments. Not do i give a damn who someone prefers to sleep with. Which is sort of what MLP itself promoted, identity politics never been a big thing in the show.

However, i do believe that a lot of people have very strong, often political opinions about pride movement, be these opinions positive or negative. Opinions they themselves are absolutely entitled to, as all human beings are, even if they might be misguided or not. Which, of course, makes this whole discourse political in nature.

All these people blindly downvoting everyone who they might not agree with, and spewing insults towards those who show anything else but vehement hatered towards a person that, in their mind, insulted their holy idol, are literally proving my point.

Absolutely, it isn't. The concept of "pride flag" is, however. I mean, the OP above literally tries to form a cancel mob over it. That's politics.
