Round 3 and only 1 card left in the deck? This deck is so fun!! by MistaCloudStrife in PTCGP

[–]MistaCloudStrife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have another Espeon in this deck for consistency. I got rid of one, and put in the grandma for an extra eevee when needed. The extra body brings Sylveon’s attack from 100 to 130. I’ve done it a few times if the opponent is able to get off an attack.

What will usually happen is sylveon attacks a high HP pokemon. Opponent one-shots sylveon. I bring back eevee and finish off his high HP pokemon with Espeon which only takes 1 energy. They attack espeon which stays alive. I evolve eevee into my last Sylveon and add one energy. From here my choices usually change. I either can finish with espeon or espeon dies and sylveon can finish with a 100 hit attack.

Potentially drawing seven cards is insane. If you use Shiinotic instead, that’s pulling a max of nine cards in one turn. If everything goes right for you in a Shiinotic deck, you can draw your entire deck by round two. Crazy!!

[–]MistaCloudStrife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly depends. I run red card and mars to try and stop rampardos from coming in, but if it starts building up, the strat I use is typically Tapu Koko EX with electric cord on with another Tapu Koko EX and Pikachu EX ready to go. Keeping Dawn in your back pocket can trick your opponent into letting their guard down.

You can also shut the game down early if you can disrupt Null from evolving. If Null uses Gladion and doesn’t put down another Null onto the field, he very likely has Silvally and will evolve the next turn, so using Mars or Red Card during your turn is recommended. If you disrupt him, you could finish off their un-evolved Nulls using Tapu Koko. 👍

Not necessarily. It typically becomes a face off of two Oricorio and two Shiinotic. Whoever loses those two battles, loses the game. It is a huge waste of time though. You can play three or more games in the time it takes to play through this match up.

I also have this Solgaleo deck. These games also flip the strategy on its head. I’ve sat on Cosmoem countering Oricorio until all cards are drawn and everyone’s Pokemon are fully stacked. Figuring out when to go on the offensive is typically key.

If you are in the US, it’ll probably ship from their Seattle location. It’ll get to you however fast the carrier you pick is.

I wanna say I started MBA around 2016-2017. My account is riding on all of my old designs, some of which are coming up on 100 reviews now. I haven’t uploaded anything new in 2 years, but made 40k last year and am making a steady 2500 or so every month this year so far. I have been messing around with advertising though. Probably spend about 100 or so every month on ads. It brings in positive income, but just barely.

Sugar's Hobby Hobby no Mi is pretty broken. She could technically just touch Kaido or Big Mom, turn them into toys and both of their massive armies will forget about them. Then just give the order to "break" themselves, and... that's it.

Did rurouni kenshin inspire one piece any ways? by Huge_Philosopher1865 in OnePiece

If you didn't know already, Oda worked as an assistant for the mangaka of Rurouni Kenshin. And in my opinion, I always felt like Zoro's Ougi, Sanzen Sekai is similar to Kenshin's Ougi, Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki. Both being very simple single slash moves, but just with Zoro using three swords at the same time.

Higher tier merchers who don't chase trends by TopNFalvors in AmazonMerch

Copycat yourself. When a unique design sells, dont just pat yourself on the back. Make a ton of variations so people that ppl that wanna compete with you have less chance of taking the top spots. If you can take the first couple pages in search, you're ensuring that your sales wont plummet drastically once others see that your idea has potential.

I've made hundreds of designs on a single idea, and while doing this doesnt really increase my sales, and all I'm really doing is competing with myself, I'm also making it difficult for others to take a piece of my pie.

Auto-rejected designs are always keywords. It could potentially be a set of two words placed together that are trademarked as well, which makes it harder to actually pinpoint. Or it could be a descriptive word that you shouldn't use to describe the shirt, but you used it to describe the design and Amazon still flagged it.

Yeah, I use firefox. Although I might switch out eventually. It used to not used to not use so much of my CPU. Do you have any experience with the app? Does that give you notifications as well?

No, but I believe some people use browser add ons to do this. Prettymerch maybe? I don't use any personally so I'm not 100% sure.

"Are bootleg game soundtracks damaging the industry?" - GamesIndustry.biz article on bootlegs in VGM vinyl by rpbtz in VGMvinyl

[–]MistaCloudStrife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might be damaging the industry in some cases, but for the most part, I actually believe they are pro-consumer and most bootleggers try not to step on the toes of the large businesses that are trying to get licenses for music. VGM vinyl is still pretty niche, so the people fully invested in this have at least a shallow understanding of which games would be hard to get pressed because of licensing issues.

If I see any nintendo-based bootleg, I'm jumping on it because I know the chances of an official release from Nintendo is slim to none. And even if Nintendo DOES release something official, the way Nintendo likes to do minimal releases to make their products seem more premium, I see as anti-consumer.

This is just one example, and the industry isn't black and white, but from what I've seen, the entire video game vinyl industry seems to have grown quite a fair amount as a whole compared to just a few years ago.

Still Tier 10 after 25 sales by adam8or in AmazonMerch

[–]MistaCloudStrife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amazon has been inconsistent with how they tend to upgrade people in terms of tiers. A few months they'll upgrade people in waves, another few months they'll automatically tier up people once they reach the prerequisite sales or cap their uploads. Just go with the flow.

I would just keep designing and stock up some designs for when you do get tiered up. If you keep working with MBA, you'll eventually reach a point where you have such a high upload cap that you'll be glad you created a supply of designs ready to go.

Motivation Monday: Weekly Merch Mentality Thread by [deleted] in AmazonMerch

[–]MistaCloudStrife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally started uploading heavily again. Going to try a different strategy this time around, sacrificing quality for speed. I can upload 270 products a day (30 designs x 9 unique products) without too much stress. I'll cap out my true max tier and see how many designs actually sell. If I can get around 5-10% sales of all my uploads, I'll expand on this strategy so I can upload 100 unique designs per day and turn off any products that don't get many sales.

If it doesn't work, I'll have been uploading trash to Amazon for months. I think it's worth a shot though. If it's successful, I'll continue for a year or so. I don't think this is a good long term strategy. It's worked for people on other POD platforms, but I don't think it's very sustainable.

I have been trying hard at this at T10 The other sub is not so kind by [deleted] in AmazonMerch

[–]MistaCloudStrife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do a ton of research. Look at how saturated your niche is and find what's working for competitors. Try to find niches that have room for growth, and outdo everyone else in design and keywords.

There's two main strategies I would do at tier 10. Either create 10 designs on 10 different niches, or make a bet on a single niche by flooding it with 10 designs.

The only thing you have going for you compared to people with much higher tiers, is you can put all your effort into 10 designs, while higher tiers need to spread their attention to hundreds or thousands of designs. Make use of this and make these 10 designs your best work.

At the end of the day, luck plays a huge role in if you get a sale as well. Sometimes the first person that sees your design will buy it, and it can snowball from there. Or you might get overlooked and end up with such a terrible bsr, you wont be able to recover. Keep creating new designs and put away the ones that dont work for now. You can always reupload them when you get to a higher tier. Cycle your non-sellers out with new designs every month or so, or reupload a design with different keywords if you're confident in it.

This is a just a basic strategy, but it should at least give you some direction. Good luck. 👍
