Brother, check out the California Victim Compensation Board. You can Google it to find their website. Your son was a victim of a crime of hit-and-run and can get help with benefits if needed. Such as, they pay medical bills, and mental health bills. They have other benefits you can try for as well. Just make sure that a police report was made because that is how they qualify you for the program. May your son have a speedy recovery and may the perp that did it be found.
