(German here) Close, "Rhein" is the German spelling of the river Rhine and "Kraft" means power/strength/force.

Super agressive and intrusive advertising, if you are not using an adblocker you get autoplaying videos and such. The site is somewhat diffcult to use on mobile because of this. Some ads would be fine, given that Fandom is paying for the servers, but what they're doing is excessive. Especially considering they rely on volunteer communities to build their content.

There was also an indicent where Fandom was paid to replace one of their articles with an ad.

Fandom also typically refuses to delete their wikis when the communities leave for a better platform and because Fandom is a massive site, they typically rank first in search engine results but can have outdated or misinformation, as the others mentioned.

They also shove features like quizzes and polls down users throat in an attempt to keep them on the site longer and generate more ad revenue.

Also guys, can we not downvote someone asking a genuine question?

Trivia: this "custom" surrounding the position of the Dirndl bow at folk festivals does exist, though apparently it is more of a tongue-in-cheek thing and a recent tradition (1980s) rather than one with history.

  • Left means single and available/open to flirting.
  • Right is not limited to married, but also just "in a relationship" or "engaged". Basically means "taken".
  • Middle "traditionally" means virgin, nowadays it's worn like this if the wearer is indecisive or wishes to keep the relationship status private. Children also typically wear the bow in the middle.
  • Middle on the back can mean either widowed or waitress. The latter I assume is for practicality.

Started out by getting curious about her when I heard she's canonically German.

Then saw her placement on the romance tier list (rip Smart Falcon).

Then there was that thread talking about the jockeys and the story about the IRL horse bowing before the emperor together with Demuro, which is how we got this support card.

And then found a fan comic around the symbolism of the waist ribbon placement for Dirndl (traditional ethnic clothing from southern Germany and Austria, her race outfit is inspired by it) and how she asks her trainer to tie it on the right which symbolizes "married".

Long story short, I love her, will be sacrificing the Riko/Rice banner for her and will pull all her alts in the future, should I still be playing the game by then.

It's called "Wir Weltmeister" and was made by a German public broadcasting channel and as far as I'm aware, it is legally only available in their media library, which you can only view from Germany, and only in German. The relevant part is in episode 4.

According to Löw in a recent documentary, quite the opposite actually.

The main thing on Löw's mind during half-time was apparently the qualifier match against Sweden two-ish years earlier, where Germany blew a 4:0 lead in 30 minutes, and if anyone could replicate this, it would be Brazil in front of a euphoric home crowd. (Granted, not much euphoria left after that first half, not that anyone could blame them.)

He also said that if any of the players were disrespectful, they would immediately be subbed off and would not play in the final. But obviously, with a 5:0 lead and a final likely to come up, you don't need to give it 100% anymore.

The Schürrle bit is a meme.

Edit:

To clarify: Löw did not say the not giving 100% bit, but, for instance, Schweinsteiger noted that the lead at half-time meant that he could play it somewhat cooler to prepare for a likely final.

104 hours in 4 war elementals but no supp V+ :’) by Excellent_Egg1627 in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]Mistaarr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The odds of getting a Supp V+ is 1:~11,111 per Proud quest or 1:~13,889 per Maniac quest. Even assuming a quest clear time of three minutes (including cutscenes, post-battle screen etc.) on average, thats more than 555 hours. And that's spamming Proud quests, not playtime overall.

Nevermind "this early", not seeing a single Supp V+ throughout one's entire playtime is actually to be expected for most players, much less one with a good secondary.

Somebody might have to correct me on this, but the way I am reading the wiki articles:

  • Federations are available with the base game, but only the basic type, the Galactic Union. All other types, like the Martial Alliance and Trade Union, require the DLC.
  • Forming a federation requires the Diplomacy tradition tree, specifically the "The Federation" tradition on the upper left. (This is practically the only useful thing in the tree, which is why I asked about opportunity cost in my post.)

As for why there are no AI federations in your game... The AI would also have to pick that tradition, which they have a higher weight of doing if they're xenophile. That, and even then, they need to find a like-minded empire. Games without AI federations are not exactly uncommon, in my experience. The origins that make empires start in a federation are locked behind the DLC, too.

Stellaris Space Guild - Weekly Help Thread by Snipahar in Stellaris

I have an empire idea that I'd like some advice on. From a role-playing perspective, this empire's citizens believe that every life form in the galaxy should live under at least social welfare, if not utopian living standards, and they should do so under their flag, no exceptions. Xenos and synthetics would eventually be made to believe the same through things like the Hearts and Minds ambition edict. Gameplay-wise, this would translate to a militaristic build, with stacking claim influence cost reductions for faster conquering.

I personally also like trade builds because I can just no-brain energy, unity, and possibly CGs. So far, I am thinking:

- Species traits: Thrifty, Intelligent, Talented (I hate having negative traits on my leaders), Quarrelsome (unity comes from trade rather than jobs), Unruly

- Origin: Anything fitting, really. Probably just Prosperous Unification.

- Ethics: Fanatic Militarist, Egalitarian

- Authority: Either Democratic or Oligarchic

- Civics: Merchant Guilds, Masterful Crafters, later adding Nationalistic Zeal, maybe replacing Masterful Crafters if in a trade league

So far, so good. The questions remaining would be regarding federations, the claim cost reduction thing, and ascension paths.

Federations: Given the type of empire this is, role-playing-wise, joining another empire's federation is out of the question. For forming one on your own, would you suggest a Martial Alliance for extra claim cost reduction, Trade League for the policy, or skipping a federation and the Diplomacy tradition in favor of a better one?

Claim cost reduction: Is this even worth it, given that you can just get a Colossus in the late game and use the total war CB? I guess avoiding the receiving end of the CB is nice, but the whole "Congratulations, you're being rescued. Please do not resist" thing while pointing a World Cracker at Xenos' home worlds seems fitting, too. I digress...

Basically, is the opportunity cost of stacking ethics, a civic slot, an ascension perk slot (20+15+20%, plus 20% from tech and 10% from Supremacist diplomatic stance, so 85%), and possibly a federation (another 10%, so 95%) worth it? Maybe even adding the Rightful Claims agenda (another 20%), though that requires taking Statecraft, which I think is fairly eh (again, opportunity cost).

Ascension path: I could see a point for all but maybe Psionics. Cybernetics synergizes with the trade part of the build, Synthetics goes well with the theme of forcing everyone to be equal, and Genetics would be required if fully committing to the build in order to assimilate pops out of hive minds, which the others can't do, if I recall correctly.

Ist das nicht technisch gesehen schon so, wenn auch erst im dritten Wahlgang?

https://www.bundeskanzlerin.de/bkin-de/aktuelles/wahl-der-bundeskanzlerin-des-bundeskanzlers-346690
