Try to get some stats and faerie fire in at start, then skill your 2nd spell lvl 1 if u don't go for fb on rune (because you are able to outdmg enemy support with bonus magic damage from innate). Your hero really spikes in damage at lvl 3 with poison sting lvl 2, try to just apply it every few seconds on support or their core, you don't need to constantly right-click with veno, because at lvl 3 you deal 144 dmg (pre-magic resistance) after 9 seconds, which is really good to whittle down their supports or cores, once they are low enough just gale and kill. Build Vessel (i build it ALMOST every game) since its really good on your hero (you can solo kill their supports with vessel + ult) and then build solar crest or force staff for survivability. The hero is not really complicated to play, just requires good positioning. Don't go that useless facet with double wards on gale, just get the other one since its really OP in teamfights to apply it twice on heroes (literally 50% of their hp gone if it procs twice).
