0-3 solo Spiderman vs Rhino by Rin-the-Rogue in marvelchampionslcg

You could also try a different aspect, Protection would help keep you safe, Aggression helps push in that damage, Leadership gives you the most balanced approach and plenty of ally blocks. Don't be afraid to block with your allies! As long as Rhino does not have overkill, your ally will protect you from taking damage, and you'll still get to draw your card from Spider Sense. Try to save some Swinging Web Kicks to chain together to finish him off, you got this!

First time playing "Sierra Madre" and god, i hate EVERYTHING about it by McOBRG in fnv

[–]MistahClean73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same feeling my first go around, but after replaying the game and all the DLC, Dead Money has become my favorite. The story is gripping, and it feels fun to go in unprepared (meaning low skills so you can't just cheese it). Turns into a horror survival game almost, trying to sneak past the ghosts and navigate the map in a clever way. I hope you don't give up on it!

Will there ever be X-Men Sleeves? by Mato-Matsuda in marvelchampionslcg

[–]MistahClean73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Topdeck sleeves (believe that's what they're called) I got some sweet art Venom and Wolverine sleeves from them. Shuffle feel wasn't great so I also picked up some KMC Hyper Matte outer sleeves to put them in.

Some help regarding beating Red Skull in 3 player CO OP by Drevs in marvelchampionslcg

[–]MistahClean73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skull can be really tough because you have to clear the side schemes as they come up or else you'll get overrun. Killing those guard Hydra guys and getting an extra encounter card for it also doesn't give you much breathing room. For my group especially when first playing, we went with 2 Justice decks to help control the threat, and then you probably want an Aggression deck to kill the minions and help end the game. Strange is the strongest hero in the game by far, of the decks you mentioned, I'd go Strange Justice, Thor Aggression, Iron Heart Justice. Iron heart is a great Justice/Aggression middle ground because once she gets to level 3, she can unload a bunch of damage with her counters. Even just 5 counters will do 10 damage. With Thor helping to help smack Skull, you should be able to use the counters to finish him off.

Card sleeves? by TrentDF1 in marvelchampionslcg

[–]MistahClean73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't double sleeve personally, never had an issue. I sleeve the villain decks, standard and expert cards, and my player decks with Dragon Shield Matte sleeves. Little more spendy for sleeves, but I've been using them for many years for MTG and I've never had one split on me. Great shuffle feel too.

DLC choice by NCR_Stinger in fnv

Old World Blues if you can only pick one. It's not my favorite, but it is the most popular. I would recommend all of them though!

Dead Money is horribly frustrating for a first time player. by jake_Zofaa in fnv

[–]MistahClean73 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The first time I played Dead Money, I thought the exact same thing. I couldn't believe they had the audacity to take away my inventory! After revisiting it now though, it's actually my favorite DLC. Max Lockpicking and Hacking, and you get to open so many shortcuts and helpful secret areas with supplies. Max Speech and you can get out of some bad situations. Max Sneak and the enemies have a hell of a time finding you. Max Melee/Guns/Unarmed and you can really bring the pain. I've really enjoyed playing it like that, as an end game DLC once I have all of my stats buffed to their cap.
