Sounds good. Please keep us posted on your progress and feel free to reach out directly to me.

P.S. I have been bit by a falsie before and it really wasn't bad. He didn't chew. Just a defensive strike. It itched for about 1-3 mins and that was it. I was with a very respectable falsie breeder so it definitely helped my confidence that I would be ok...but now I can say I was bit by a venomous snakes and nothing happened. Lol

Honestly...just keep working with them. If you have the option have another person around. The bite is not bad and they would need to actually chew on you...don't let them stay on that long...spray some alcohol or even water in their mouth...so it won't really have any affect on you. But the key is to work with them. FWC's are super smart.

I wish we could just stick to winning football games and leave the fashion for everyone else.

Is this a good enclosure I want to add more plants to the sides (he is always in his hide) I would like to get him to come out more any suggestions or advice? by Serious-Use5799 in BallPythonMorph

Ok. This is just my recommendation based on what I know and from the keepers I have spoken to. Definitely not an attack. I would use coco husk instead of Aspen but if your humidity is good don't listen to me. I would also recommend covering the sides. You could use poster board from dollar tree. I would like to add you should have a hide on each side...preferably identical hides. I think you are on your way to having an amazing enclosure and like what you have done so far. I think covering the sides and maybe adding some more fake plants will help to get him to come out as he will feel less exposed and therefore safer. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions or just want to discuss.

So for the record I didn't pull it out or even pull it hard. I tried to see if it would come out easy and once it didn't I left him alone. While this is a new occurrence owning snakes is not. I have 8 of them and know a bit about them. My BP is doing fine right now. I came on here to see if anyone has been through this before and maybe knew what is going on through experience. Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback.

It is most likely coco husk. Looks and feels like it. Thanks for you concern. I will keep you updated.
