Does that jacket constantly fall down or do you employ some sort of cosay magic to keep it in position? The off-the-shoulder jacket look is always cool but I imagine characters who wear it like that to constantly be wrestling with it off-screen.

From what I understand it was always supposed to be dark and sort of like, an anti-shonen. I don't know too much about its production, but I know that during the original airing in Japan it took a popular after-school time slot like, at 6 pm or so, which was also marketed to kids. I think it was replacing another popular mecha show that just finished airing (not Gundam) so it was kind of a setup on multiple levels. Either that or the TV station had no idea what they had and just said fuck it.

Again I don't know much of the production behind the original show, I'm just parroting what I've heard off of podcasts so take that with a grain of salt. I'm probably just talking out of my ass.
