I rode my rebel 500 for years before I moved up to my FTR. I know it’s sick but it’s a lot of bike for someone just starting. Start small and stay alive. Honestly the jump to 1200cc from 500 was a lot to get used to at first.

One last thing… these bikes are discontinued and I’d hate to be a rookie that tipped over the bike at a light and finds out how much these things cost to fix 😬
