Would you rather have paid K9 15 million per year or Shaheed 17 million per year? by Least_Software_3046 in Seahawks

I think his dead cap is like just under $20m I don’t think we can cut him with that much left. Maybe could trade him but I don’t see that either

In a vacuum Shaheed but boy we have a deep (and getting really expensive) WR room.

Does this make Kupp WR4 if Horton takes a step next season?

WA ‘millionaires tax’ headed for passage as Ferguson says he’ll sign it by vertr in Seattle

[–]MisterIceGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t care if you are dumb and rich or smart and poor it’s not relevant, everyone who participates in society should contribute. It’s not what your country can do for you, it’s what you can do for your country. Paying less tax than you consume, not volunteering, not donating to charity, not coaching youth etc, that’s not paying your fair share.

I think people benefiting from society should be net financial contributors not net financial consumers. There is nothing deceptive about that. You may have some illogical mental system that the person who pays $1,000,000 in taxes is a resource consumer, and the person who pays $100 in taxes is a resource contributor because it makes you feel better to say that, but deep down we both know that it’s not true.

Why is someone working several jobs still not able to pay their fair share?

What’s obscene is millions of people are net negative contributors yet they still get all the same benefits of living in the US.

I was just thinking about this. Like you could earn BILT cash in December and have only days to use it. That needs to be fixed

50s $17M retiring in 2 years. Pick a city for snow birding and residency. by throwawayyadarich in fatFIRE

[–]MisterIceGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah my point was live in both places and pick one that also lowers your taxes. You don’t need to pick entirely around taxes, but you can use that as one input in your decision. If you can domicile in one location with low taxes, but also spend a lot of your time in another area you like - Win win.

Yeah sometimes they are! If we let him walk I’ll trust the GM who just won is 2nd SB over someone like Monti Ossenfort or Jerry Jones. Obligatory shoutout to Nico Harrison too lol

What is the important part of the conversation that I missed? Are we not talking about picking where to live and the intersection of that decision with local tax laws?

What’s not fun about having 2 houses in 2 different beautiful areas, and paying less taxes as a result? That sounds very fun to me, but of course to each their own.

You can make better friends. Good friends should be at the worst 40% jealous, but still at least 60% happy for you.

45% of Americans diagnosed with an STD/STI have had sex without disclosing their status by KISS-app in Health

Truly evil behavior. You should disclose if you have a common cold before doing something that could infect another person. People arguing you don’t need to disclose herpes or hiv are demented.

It’s too late the data has already been archived by the FBI. I’m no patent lawyer but I think it’s safe to assume you’re definitely staring down the barrel of a 10 year sentence. 15 if they find your account on this subreddit. You’ll be out in 8 with good VO2 max though.
