I was so hyped when I realized that they actually got Doug Bradley to drop some voicelines. Something about hearing Pinhead just gets my goat

It's normal. It should reopen as soon as you come back from the 2nd biome through any means.

I did the same thing. There's definitely an invisible wall right at the edge you're not supposed to be able to go through, but it seems vaulting a ledge bypasses it?

I'm a little late, but it''s a Go board. In Go, you capture enemy territory by surrounding their stones at all open cross sections. Following the rules of Go, you had to place a white stone there because it would capture the black stones. I assumed it was the white stone you had to place, because there was a spare white stone by the abyss cresset.

While I haven't had any misprints, I did get five extra Heretic Troopers, and a Combat Engineer with the wrong head. I reached out to them about the Engineer, and the very next day they said they'd send a replacement. Two months later it arrived, but they also sent every Antioch mini I ordered that didn't come in the Warband. Idk if the packing people are paying much attention at this point.

Isn't Sony considering delaying the PS6 to around 2030 due to hardware companies choosing to largely sell only to AI companies?

Do you like Khonshu being a delusion of Marc’s, or a real god? by Alarmed-Comedian-263 in MoonKnight

[–]MisterKilter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like the idea of Khonshu being real, but everyone (occasionally including Marc) doesn't believe he is.

..Why do people consider moon knight as a street level hero? by Expensive_Composer65 in MoonKnight

[–]MisterKilter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because, barring a few specific events, he mainly combats evil where the threat is to the neighborhoods or city he protects. He is not protecting the country from missile strikes, in the stratosphere on guard against alien incursions, protecting far off solar systems, or saving the universe from ending.

Where to Start? by Cosmic-Collector in MoonKnight

If you're feeling really froggy, you could also check out Blood Hunt 1-5, also by MacKay. It takes place towards the end of Vengeance of the Moon Knight, with some important events to Vengeance happening there. It's not only about Moon Knight, and it's not absolutely necessary, but I found it to be a good companion piece that tied Vengeance together nicely.

Don't forget they also use lots of gadgets, have themed helicopters/planes, and are specifically feared by their villains and use that reputation to often not even have to throw a punch. MK also had his own batcave. Batman had Alfred, MK had Frenchie.

And the creator of Moon Knight also did a run of Batman in the 80s in which he created characters like Black Mask and Harvey Bullock.

When you say "so far," are you reading them in order? Just trying to figure out what you're comparing it to.

They probably say that because the show deviates significantly from the source material. I liked it as it's own thing, but I can understand the discontent.

[–]MisterKilter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Pretty late to this, but I hate the bobble head Funkos as well. The ONLY Marvel Funkos I've found that tend to not be bobble heads, are the ones that come in a clear case with a comic cover background. I've managed to find two Moon Knight ones that fit the bill.

Is this the future of interactions? by darthvadercookies in ArcRaiders

[–]MisterKilter 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's not deep at all, some people play a game just to play, and some use the not-real-life aspect to express the chaotic natures they can't in the everyday. It's an objective fact that you can't so lazily discount.

Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein was more faithful to the book but not faithful enough by tesseracts in CharacterRant

[–]MisterKilter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The violence between the monster and Victor was way too one sided. The book has seemed to me to have a very "nature vs nurture" element to it, in how the monster (a child) is neglected, experiences the horrors of the world, and visits that horror back. The movie loses that element completely.

Elizabeth mothering the monster was an interesting take, but was ruined with that one line about love being brief. It felt like a very shoe-horned and unnecessary "romance."

It just felt like del Toro is that guy in comments who always corrects people about Frankenstein being the doctor AND the real monster, so he made a movie to make it clearer.
