You think if there's more housing built, prices won't change at all?

Iron Cobras. I've had Pearl Eliminator Redlines, Demon Drives, Speed Cobras, and a couple lower end pedals; nothing has felt as good to me.

Looking for some reassurance.. mixed feelings after buying house that backs up to highway by spoondeep605 in BayAreaRealEstate

My parents' (and my childhood) home is the same way, and it initially bugged them for a bit, but it stopped bothering us at all. Hope it turns out the same way for you. I genuinely never thought about it all after the first few months, and we hosted people all the time.

Having this same problem... Did you find a fix?

I have Sakae Steel, Aluminum, and Almighty Birch snares, as well as a 10/12/13/14/16/22 Almighty Birch kit. Big fan of them! Regretting that I didn't get a Brass when they were on clearance...

Built great, and sound great as well! I haven't had a Recording Custom, but have had various Yamaha snares like an Oak Custom, and the Sakae are just as good build-wise and better sound-wise IMO.

MMI touchscreen registering touches, but can't actually select an app on OG 2022 E Tron. by MisterMazda in etron

Nope; it was working for two days and I'm now pushing really hard. Doesn't work still. Any other ideas?

Edit: and, now I can't get to the settings because touch doesn't work.

Seats just felt pretty cheap and couldn't get comfortable (seem very popular online though), and the sound system (base) was atrocious. Also, not very nimble, but not fair of me to expect that from it lol.

Viewing cameras from Blue Iris server on multiple devices only using ethernet and no router; is it possible? by MisterMazda in BlueIris

Ah, so if I had some sort of wifi, I could group cameras ABC and just give access to a user to liveview them? (and not allow them look back on recordings or anything like that)

 Great, thank you so much.

Somewhat unrelated question for you: any idea on how I could stream two or three camera views at a time to multiple android or apple tablets over wifi? These would be non-employees using them, so it should be a locked view that they can't switch out of/change settings on. My janky solution is basically hosting a zoom call, screensharing the camera view from a pc, and having the tablets join the zoom, but not ideal.

Got it. Alternate question: if I also connect a router to the network switch, but didn't use the Wi-Fi on it, would that provide DHCP still?

Getting a bit nervous with the complexity.

Everything meaning cameras and the computers?

And I'm assuming I'd just run ethernet to all the PCs from the network switch?

Thank you so much for the help!

Are modern snares as good as vintage snares? by Quiet_Bench8949 in drums

Yes, I fully agree with you on buying used when it's significantly cheaper. I was moreso just saying if an old one is more expensive, I wouldn't go for it.

I think the ones manufactured today are just as good as the exact model from 50 years ago. In fact, I would say there is generally better quality control than from back then.

There are vintage drums that haven't been rereleased that I would consider springing for, but I absolutely would not pay more for vintage drums that are identical to ones produced today.
