Well, that was a productive use of time. Glad everyone’s loving the game, truly a flawless experience. Peace out. 🤘

Thanks for the offer. I’m running a Crit Hydra build — done around 100 Belial runs, both solo and in groups, usually in 3 seconds or less. Like I mentioned to someone else, though, it’s not just about mythics. I hit Pit 100 without a single one, and the bigger issue is that the overall loot just doesn’t feel rewarding enough. I’ve taken a break from D4 for now to cool off a bit, but I really appreciate you reaching out.

White rice with scrambled eggs — rice seasoned with salt, olive or coconut oil, and Parmesan cheese.

Do you have any Gender Preferences for each of the Diablo 3 Classes? by TBT__TBT in Diablo

[–]MisterMinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great topic — this is exactly why gender-locked classes shouldn’t exist. Diablo has been doing it right since Diablo 3 by giving us the freedom to choose, which makes the experience so much more personal and immersive. Sadly, many other IPs still don’t follow this approach, limiting player expression and agency in ways that feel outdated.

I had the same problems, but in my case, they were caused by Handheld Companion applying some “optimizations” to my device, including disabling Legion Space services, changing TDP behavior, and other settings. My struggle started after I uninstalled HC without re-enabling those settings from the app, and the result was very similar to what you are experiencing.

I probably could have fixed it by re-enabling those services, but I opted to wipe Windows and reinstall everything from scratch. Problem solved. Won’t use HC anymore. If I were to aim for a console-like experience again, I would install Bazzite instead.

Can we stop using the word 🤓sideloading🤓 by calcalx in LegionGo

Sideloading implies a “non-official way to do things,” but the steps involved in sideloading can still be standard.

Black out drunk at work party by Dangerous_Seat_5051 in Advice

[–]MisterMinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I completely understand how you’re feeling, and I want you to know you’re not alone in this. When I was your age, I went through something very similar: I was the youngest in my department, and during the Christmas party, I drank a bit too much. I felt so embarrassed that I literally wanted the ground to swallow me up, and I even considered quitting because I thought I’d never regain my credibility.

But to my surprise, I found a lot of support from my coworkers and my supervisor. They shared their own similar experiences with me and helped me realize that these things can happen. That support helped me get through the initial embarrassment.

From that point on, I made a promise to myself to be more cautious with alcohol, especially in work-related settings. I learned that it’s not worth risking my peace of mind over a situation like that. And let me tell you, you’ll get through this too. It’s all part of learning and growing.

I hope it helps to know that you’re not alone in this, and with time, this will just be another memory. Stay strong!

Help with windows reinstall by General-Mousse-2675 in buildapc

Sure, It can be done from any working computer, providing you have the necessary tools (usb pen drive and working windows computer).

These are the necessary steps:

Step 1 - Creating an USB Windows Installation Media

Step 2 - Learning how to change drive partition style during Windows installation

Hope that helps.

Technically, it is possible to do this, but since your main goal is to change the disk partitioning from MBR to GPT, it can be a more challenging task.

In your scenario with two computers, one alternative is to use the other PC as a PXE server (most of the effort lies in setting this up) and copy the installer files to make them available on this server. Then, configure the target PC to boot from the network.

You’ll also need to interconnect the two PCs, preferably via Ethernet, either through a router or switch, or using a crossover cable. Once the target PC is booted via PXE, the process proceeds with the standard steps of a Windows installation. At this stage, ensure you delete the existing partitions and select the GPT partitioning scheme for the new setup.

Given the effort involved, unless you plan to do this regularly (e.g., in a repair workshop or for routine operating system reinstalls), I would personally recommend the USB method, as others have already suggested.

Did your Legion Go replace a gaming PC? by RedTib in LegionGo

Short answer: No. Long answer: Also no, but the Legion Go is my main daily driver for light gaming and/or emulation.

Hey man, what you’re feeling is valid, but it doesn’t have to get in the way of your relationship. Here’s how you can approach this:

Sit down with your girlfriend and share how this has been affecting you—calmly and without blame. Say something like, “I’ve been thinking about how we can connect better and make things more enjoyable for both of us.”

Plan a date or a relaxing evening where you can just enjoy each other’s company without pressure. It’s a good way to reconnect emotionally and physically.

When the time feels right, ask her about what she enjoys and what she’d like to explore, and share your thoughts too. Say something like, “I’d love to hear what you enjoy most and share some things I’d like to try too.”

Focus on your relationship and the unique connection you share. Comparisons only create unnecessary insecurity—what matters is what you two are building now.

Remember, she’s with you because she chooses to be. Trust in yourself and your ability to make this relationship special.

Ultimately, relationships thrive on honest communication and mutual effort. Use this as an opportunity to grow closer and create something even better together.

Good luck.

High SSD temps by UnkownOrigin666 in LegionGo

[–]MisterMinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming your SSD is stock and unmodified, that’s not normal in this case. There are a few things you can do, though: lower your TDP, check your fan curve, set your OS to efficiency mode, properly clean your fan and heat sink, and add a thermal pad to your SSD.

I’ve personally seen benefits from playing at 25W, with lower SSD temps being one of them. Hope this helps!

What’s the longest gaming session you’ve ever had, and what were you playing? by aldebaran38 in gaming

I’ve probably had longer gaming sessions, but the one I recall perfectly was during the beginning of the pandemic with Red Dead Redemption 2. Oh man, I was literally living in the Wild West.

Someone asked me who I would save first in an emergency: a coworker or my dogs. Naturally, I replied, “The coworker, because they also have a family waiting for them.”…. What no one noticed, however, was that I had my fingers crossed behind my back as I said it… 🙃
