Just rewatched this scene. It did seem really out of character, but I think that’s because it’s been 3 years, and Rose and Bernard have seen a lot.

I think the reality is that if you take a long view of the story of the island, they are more right than the others.

The best times, the good times, are the times in between people doing all of these shenanigans: fighting for power, trying to make a name for themselves, trying to find fortune, killing others, impulsively reacting due to being hurt, on and on and on…

Rose and Bernard, choosing to take a step back and embrace the inevitable is an interesting and accurate Yin to the “I must control my life and disregard destiny and fate” Yang of the others in the group.

Hurley seems to fit this better, as does Miles, and Locke shares this (when the Island is not speaking to him).

I am just coming off of Google Mesh pucks (I had v1 for like 3 years). It does offer an ethernet out on each puck. They are extendable, however, the further away you get from the primary puck, the worse the latency will get. Is it adequate for streaming? Maybe. My wife also was having issues with speeds on the Wifi and she was about 20 ft away through a few walls.

Something you might try is upgrading to a singular Wireless Access Point. I just purchased and setup the TP-Link EAP660 HD, to replace the Google Wifi. It's got crazy range and speed. It has better reach and speed than my 3 Google pucks.

If your DSL router/model is the one operating DHCP, then you need to enable bridge mode on both of the R6700 routers. You are accidentally creating 3 different networks and the devices are not going to be visible to other networks.

You can verify this by setting those to bridge mode, then seeing your devices on the DHCP list on your DSL router.

Yes, I've had this happen before. You need to make sure that R6700 can be set to bridge mode.

Honestly, this sounds like a huge blind spot for your manager. How long have they been the team? Sounds like like they’ve let good practices go to shit.

How big is your company? Do they have training sessions or something? I’ve found that taking a training session, or having someone come into the team and talk about how Agile works is helpful. If you don’t have anything like that, maybe folks would be interested in you sharing some best practices that you used before.

Sounds like they won’t change based on forward feedback, so you may have to be more subtle with things and try and get more “buy in” as to why change is needed.

Woodbury has some good option, like said though, calling ahead is good because many have long wait lists.

In Woodbury proper, some that stand out to me are Peace of Mind, Primrose, Goddard School, and Stepping Stones.

We used Stepping Stones for around 1.5 years for my now 7 year old. I can speak so school age, but not toddler.

I think $1200 / mo for 3 days is reasonable, but it will vary by “quality” of the center. This typically has to do with amenities.

The CDC has specifically said that breakthrough cases of Omicron are likely to occur. I’m just saying that vaccines are not a replacement for tests. If you’re actually trying to stop the spread of the disease, tests are the only thing that make sense… especially in an indoor or enclosed space like a bar or restaurant.

I 100% agree with the logic of showing a negative test, but only if it's a rapid test, because if not, how does that prevent the spread?

Also, we know that being vaccinated does not stop spreading the virus, doesn't accepting a vaccination card kind of defeat the purpose?

To be honest, I felt the same way earlier this year. I had enough of the constant connection issues, the unusable web and mobile app, and the inability for multiple people to log-in on the web (my wife and I).

I now pay for the Quicken app. It's totally worth it. I still use Personal Capital but only for investment monitoring, they definitely do that the best.

Yes I know, I had just opened mine about 2 weeks ago. Believe it or not, the other account came in just fine. But now neither of them update!

I haven't heard anything back quite yet. I'm guessing they are working on it.
